As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

"The lantern poles and the grass is kind of a letdown to the wallpaper. I would change that. Also the bricks on the stairs need some work in my opinion, but the stairs are definitely not a letdown.
But back to the lantern poles and the grass, I think the dimension doesn't work and is not placed well. Maybe you should also make a sky in the background, maybe that fills up some of the emptiness.
But a big handshake for the vector, it's done great and it's very cute! ^__^

"Yes, you should get rid of the basic yellow outer glow around the characters. Try other colors. Also, that black circle doesn't work. It's not a bad idea, in fact, I think it's a fine idea, but in my opinion the filter you used in it doesn't work. Also I think the circle is too thick. The small circles on the outside are looking great though.
