Well for starters which is the first thing one needs to get really good at when making walls or any other form of "art" is extraction. Brings back memories lol. Not bad. Just needs more work. I'd like to suggest that you re-extract your scan using either the "Pen Tool" or the "Eraser" since the magic wand isn't at all the greatest tool. Sure it takes time but hey look at it this way. If you want to be recognized as a good waller you should take the time to deliver a great wallpaper. If you are doing this for personal use and amusement I wouldn't really bother submitting to galleries.

Been a while since I've seen anything from you. I must say I love this piece as much as your Kingdom Hearts piece. The slight smudgey-ness and blur to it makes it seem that much more interesting I think. Wonderful paint job (I need a tablet XD). I'm just playing with the mouse for now. Very nice. I'm enjoying this new edition from you very much. A very nice wallpaper. I love how you applied a nice sideways perspective to show a window looking over a city outside with a sunset theme. The sun is a bit high for the theme but it works really well. Just a suggestion next time is when your incorporating your rays try to fit them with the window frame and it'll seem that much more realistic. Plus soften the edges a tad since rays of light aren't a solid edge when you see them coming through a window. Fabulous work. I'll be adding this to my favorites ^_^. Nice to see your still making walls. I'm finding this piece rather calming. You certainly have a flair for simplicity but in a more...hmm...can't put my finger on the word lol. It has a tendency to give off different ideas which I thought pretty funny. For one I thought some sort of pond or lake on the edge of the world and then I read your comment and pictured it as a bowl of noodle soup with a cat in a boat sitting in the middle of it XD. I like this quite a bit. Very simple concept but its lovely. I like how you changed the original into a cool blue which is very cool and calming to see. Works marvelously. Nice vector (I think its vectored since you don't say you did). Nice clean lines and the icey background compliments the scan nicely.Thanks for sharing. I feel you should adjust the text to better suit the wallpaper. Its placed nicely just needs a little more "work" instead of a serif font in black. For a wallpaper that simulates a page out of a fairy tale book you did a great job. I must admit that I get mixed feelings from this wallpaper but none the less it tells a story which is what I strive to do with each and every one of my walls. I LOVE the idea behind this wallpaper. Its gorgeous. I have just a couple things that bug me.
- Resolution doesn't work with usual Comps.
- Lighting is off. Her skin appears and the surrounding room seems completely detached from the other image. I think it'd be beautiful if they worked together to create a really beautiful cohesive vision.

I must say after reading through your comment (Ok I didn't read all of it but maybe later rofl). I read some of the more important notes though. To start off with I could tell already before reading that comment that you made a lot of this from scratch. I love the atmosphere and lighting. I'm jealous that your learning perspective since I really want to start learning how. My work would go so much further if I learned this one simple subject. Anyhow back to the subject. Overall I like everything. Just one thing. The fireworks appear just a tad to sharp. Soften the edges a lil more to give them a little more distance. I'm actually liking this piece. The texturing is a bit weird for me but somehow it looks really good with the type of illustration from Kino no Tabi. Nice color selection however I feel they could be adjusted to suit the scan that much more. Maybe a hint or goldish brown to match Kino's outfit or maybe a slight emeraldish green to match the light on her bike. However this is pure opinions about how I feel you could make it better in my mind XD. Its a nice wallpaper. I like it. Nice extraction by the way ;). Hope to see more works from you.

This is a really neat wallpaper. I like the idea of interlacing windows that have different events happening in them. This piece in my opinion would have been a lot better if you possibly vectored her and worked out the abstract effects in a little more of an orderly fashion. None the less this piece is great. Very appealing concept of doing an album cover. I think you did a nice job keeping it very simple but slightly attractive to invite attention. You did a great job and what I like most of all in this piece is the color. Very eye catching and appealing. WIsh I had a better idea of who the characters are and what they are like in the series. You know what your doing with vector in the a beginners sense (from my point of view). However its kind of...dull. Sure I like the colors but the initial character itself seems...unattractive in terms that the background is much more appealing than the figure itself. I apologize for being blunt but you should take a little more time and thought with vectoring to make it shine that much more. Try adding more skin tone or possibly some eye work. Little details of this nature really help to make a piece come out and shine with energy that appeals to the masses. Keep up the good work.
