This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Given this is just a simple vector of a screenshot it's still pretty neat. I can't help but find it incredibly appealing. It just makes me feel like I'm surfing the skies along with her. Something like that lol. Nice work and awesome work with all your other walls ;).
What can I say that hasn't been said a hundred times already. It's a beautiful piece of work that shows a lot of craftsmanship and careful attention to detail. However I spot some edges you missed on some of your layers for masking lol. I love the color and pleasantness of the wallpaper. It feels truly surreal when I gaze upon the sky. Nice work ;). +Fav

The darkness of this wallpaper is just awesome and full and angst 4 SURE. Impressive job with brush work, and I love the whole textured look. Gives off a really gritty feel that I love in dark walls. I've seen this wallpaper every now and then, but I never actually looked at the full-view. When I did, I was shocked. Superb work. DEAR ME! This is amazing. I'm already in love with this wallpaper. Lol the color choice, and BG are very well selected. The grungy BG matching in color with the scan aside from her VERY crimson nails, gives it an astonishingly old look. Yet it still feels very tech (due to the mic, and earphone). It's very desktop friendly as well, which I find hard to do these days since everyone make wallpapers that are more suitable for being printed then being put on a desktop. Well let me tell you. This is one awesome wallpaper. This is exactly what a wallpaper should be like (IMO lol). Beautiful, but not just that alone. It should also be full of feeling, and meaning. I'd say your experiment with lighting was a great success because it makes me feel like I'm looking at an old photograph of mine of a sunset with one of my great friends in it.
