No, I don't think it sucks, for me Gundam 00 is the best series for this fall to the end of winter season.

Ah what a wonderful wallpaper! I just love Marina and Setsuna! They're both pretty cool characters :) Although instead of 'Be With You', I got more of a 'I'll protect you' vibe.
I'm SO glad you cut off Ali because I friggin' hate that guy. (I rarely hate a character, even if he/she is evil)
I thought about that name to, my friend voanh99 wants the wall name as "Get out, Ali!" . That Ali guy hold my hatred in Gundam 00.

First, for vector, I don't know it's your mistake or your idea, but some hair lines own Kei's skin color, and for skin, color is bright, even with sunset light. There several paths with colors mix up, make it unclear, like with Kei's right eye, are you missing some line here?
And for close-up a wall, I think you need more details, personally simple wallpaper isn't a problem, but this think is too plain. And the whole pink here don't make a sense, maybe you need a "main point", like this what this wallpaper is focusing on, Kei's eyes or her emotion? I think with a little more effort, your work will look well. And if you want Kei's emotion like that, I think you can vector the whole Kei's head with a little sky background, aren't you vector a screen shot?

Didn't you use the vector method like that: You don't draw the line first, but draw a big shape with line color, then draw other shapes for the color. For that method, it works well for dynamic lines, but I think you can edit the color paths to make it a little more regular because you used stroke line for the sky. ^_^ Flowers are lovely.
