After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
I actually did my first vector last week. I found out I enjoy painting more. Thats what im working on right now is painting something for a wall I have in the works.

The background is nice and gives it that tranquil feeling and she does look adorable floating in the air like that with the little birds. Nice touch, too, with the birds! They add a sort of whimsical feeling to the wallpaper. The vectoring and painting are also excellent!

"I like it; it's grungy yet still has those muted bright colors. The pattern works well with the colors and purple really is an awesome color. X3 I really like close up wallpapers too. Only thing is, if you were trying to focus on her eyes, I think you should have made the blue a little bit brighter, because it's the same tone as the purple, it doesn't stand out as much as it should hae. Nice work though and gosh, I want to see what else you come up when you're not bored or when you get hit with a buttload of inspiration! :D" View

The vectored character looks reeallly cool with the whirling sand and buildings in the background.
But like you said, I feel that it could have been done a bit better, with regards to blending the sand and the ground. The background is well done though and it fits with the mood and theme. I love the glowing white text and great job on the wallpaper in general.
