This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Nice concept.. Fuu looks on while those two get into trouble! But the composition looks off, because of the relative positions of Jin and Mugen. I wouldn't have put Mugen there, it doesn't look like he's actually got a hand on the floor at all, why not have his hand on the lowest step so he's somersaulting down it, towards Jin in the immediate foreground? Also the extraction needs cleaning, their outlines look jaggy and I can see a fine white line around them in parts, especially Jin's hair. Nice effort, just needs a bit of cleaning and maybe twiddling of their positions :P" View

"I'll be honest, this is a disappointing widescreen wall.. first it's not quite the 1680x1050 I was expecting, and it's letterboxed T_T. Well anyways, the scenic background is beautiful, the brightness with stars and clouds together works nicely. What isn't so great is the blades of grass, they look comparatively simple and the girl herself is a little too washed out for my liking :0" View

"Very distinctive. The bold outlines and blocks of colour gradients work well. I like what you did with the grass, using white outlines isn't something I've seen a lot of. The only thing that detracts from the vector-style is that Pleinair herself looks like you enlarged the scan and used smart blur on it or something, rather than smooth gradients and blocks of colour." I like the cityscape, but from the thumbnail I thought she was in a forest :P Those big grey spikes look a lot like knife blades and those three diagonal ones pointing to the topleft look like they're translucent or something. Is that intentional? Also the cleanness of the vectoring makes Chise stand out a lot from the textured background. The art styles are different, so maybe she should have been lightly textured too to help blend the whole thing together." View

The left edge of the red wall looks a bit jagged, and I'd have made the spacescape darker so it contrasts with her whiteness and looks deeper. The glowing bow and arrow is indeed a nice touch and a style you could have carried on in the background. Something like soft glowing arcs, maybe some sort of runic geometry would look a lot better than the weird scribble sort of effect I can see :P" View

"It's got a very romantic feel.. they're all wet and hiding out in a log cabin in the woods XD Well the curtains stood out to me as the best part of your construction... that and the scenery through the window. I think the window frames themselves look a little flat because they don't have the same sort of shadowing like the curtains :0 And personally I think those meteors tip the mood from awkward angsty romance to apocalyptic horniness :P Since the background generally conveys a downcast subdued sort of mood those meteors might be a little out of place. Very nice work nonetheless!" View

I haven't really been following your painted wall project so it's new to me :P As a wall composition can't be complained about and the transparency on the wings is a great touch. There's two small things that I find distracting a little though, firstly the two smaller fairies in the background look like the exact same character but recoloured and all your sparkles look the same to me too. If there aren't any other fairy artworks then I guess the former can't be helped, but playing with brush dynamics on those sparkles might add a little extra variation :P" View

"Heh I didn't read your description and I was about to ask, 'Is this meant to look like the viewpoint is through a window?' So I guess you got that effect spot-on :D It's an interesting way of working grunge textures and things into a scenic wall.
I guess something you could do to increase the realism is add more than one direction blur to the lights in particular. There should be faint blur lines coming off at angles too, like 30 degrees tilt either way from vertical. Like pointing out to the corners of a hexagon. That might be hard to understand but if you go look at photos of streetlamps at night and stuff you might see what I mean >.>;" View
