After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! "I find it´s a good wallpaper and gives me a dynamic feel. In part because the cat-girl is jumping and the colors are contempted inside their lines very nicely: The vector may not be very neat in some parts (I can see some pixelations), but the dynamic feel comes also because of the thin artlines. Though the colors are a bit too soft (more sturated colors would have worked good too), it feels sunny.

I´m looking at the vector from the girl (the only thing I think could be better) and I see that you didn´t put much love into it. Some parts of it look like you didn´t made the terminations in the artline of the hair strands, because there are like fragments of vector where it could have been the finishing of the trace.
However, the other parts of the wall are very fine and good-looking.
I´m not complaining about the composition (is good).
I love the colors you used adn how did you blended them with vectored shapes. The little black text is pretty like the flower stock you used.

..In fact is very well done and nate, but I see what you mean with you don´t liking the perspective (or composition): I think the attention/focus you do want to atract to, is in the center of the wall. I mean, you want the atraction of the eyes to be on the center of the wall, and the red-haired guy on the left side is just bothering, because it makes an uncomfortable emptiness since the middle and across the left part of the wall, making him that the visual concentratin to lead a way to him and not the main character of the image (meaning the black haired guy with the sword).
Something to try, would be carrying the annoyingly placed guy to the behind of the principal character.
You talked about the bg, and I see what you mean: It doesn´t look great.
You say flat, and in the shout box you said the perspective is bothering you.
Then I say to you that is a matter of color composition.
You don´t like the background because looks too realistic: The color has a sombre-bad-desert-photography looking, and that´s why it´s maybe bothering you.
I suggest you to try with another colors in the background and to balance the colors intensity on the characters for fixing the placement of the visual focus.
I have an idea for the background: You said it looked too simple if vectored, but how about you vector it but using a very, very thin line. I´m thinking it can be a blurry-like thin line.
And playing with lenght and distant mountains/sand effetcs with the lines could be very interesting.
Manipulating that with the color change for balancing the characters, and playing a little bit with the sky in the back would be very good too.

And that´s not what happens always, you know? Almost all time there´s nothing much interesting over there, but this wall claimed my attention.
It was surely the way its great colors were painted and shaped. Because it has very nice shapes. I like much the vector work, and the anime people inside are very funny.
