After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Well, that's what I thought at first sight. Viewing it full-screen though, I found out this must resample the power of simplicity. It's a clean wall with solid vectoring. And even though it all seems simplistic, I think it works for some reason.
This wall could be rated good or bad, it's hard to predict. I would sure give it a chance." View

"It makes me think of CloudAC's "The Controlled" paper, only then with some city background inserted. The same scan is used, the same placing of character, the same colors used and the same techniques used. I'm not saying you didn't do a great job, neither am I saying you're a copycat, but it has drawn my attention there are many similar walls released lately.

Leaves: I think they fit in right, but you could have disorted a few; now they are all falling faced the same way, instead of twirling.
Character: Too plain. Black works, but this looks like a hole, instead of a character in the picture. Grunge it a little like the rest of the wall and it's fine.

"The emotion, the colors, the vectoring... brilliant! So much better positioning and surrounding then the scan.
The only thing I'm missing is a little tear on the character's cheek, as finishing touch to the emotional atmosphere in this wall.
Point of critic is the reflection, which is a bit unnatural (looking at the lightfall, material of floor, etc.). This could be solved by shading the borders and blurring, as rebel soul said, plus a little fade down.
But the emotion... you don't see that much in other AP walls (which are mostly happy papers). Impressive. Really beautifull." View

Looking at the thumbnail I was affraid your character would stand out too much, but you solved that marvelously with the effects on the elf wings and the 'platform'.
Though, the background is (imo) still a bit too bright/busy/colourfull. In a certain way, it makes you take your eyes of the character too much. A darker bg would also make the wall a bit calmer.
Conclusion: credits for the character design (place, colors, etc.), try to find a good balance between the front (character) and the back (bg) and your next wallpaper would defenitely turn out great. Good luck ;)." View
