While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"I don't mean to sound too harsh, but it looks like you simply took the scan and put it on a black background. In addition, it also appears that you used the preview image of the scan, rather than downloading the actual one.
My advice would be to actually download the scan and use it instead of the preview. As for design tips, try not to rely on cool looking fonts to make the paper (though they certainly can help). Perhaps you could cut him out and move him towards the center, making the other side of him white and create some kind of yin yang deal in the process. You would of course, have to do more than just that. Some of your own work must be present." View
