Anyway, the concept behind this wall is really great. There's a lot of emotions being thrown around in the series, and I think you really managed to nail most of what Shinji goes through. I do think it's interesting that you chose red to show Shinji's "inner self". Emotions in art are frequently represented by a color, and red has several different translations. I wonder which one you were thinking of when you made the wall?

You did a great job erasing the other characters from the background, and the dirty, grungy texture really accentuates the feelings put forth with your work. I love the positioning of the text, it's as if all his thoughts are jumbled except for one, and that really shows a lot about the character. Great job!

I know what it can be like trying to put together a scan from two separate pages (I'm started work on one a while ago). The scan quality is really great and you did an awesome job extracting it. There are a couple places where there is a yellow glow over part of the scan, such as on Asuna and Ayaka's shoes, that looks a touch out of place. Also, Asuna and Nodoka's eyes seem to be off color. Was this from the scan, or one of the things you changed?
Overall though, looks good!"

"Very nice and tastefully done! I'm not sure about it's practicality as a wallpaper (definitely can't use it at work >< ), but the background and composition are superb. I just love the lighting and shadows on the wall, they give a great sense of depth, and along with the layering of images, it's like I'm actually looking into the room. Great job on this!
