"My favorite elements for this wallpaper have to be the floral patterns that have been laid over the backgrounds almost like watermarks, as well as the effect of shattering glass near the floor. I think that the sharp angles and the curling print in the background make for a very nice contrasting effect in this piece."

[I think it's been the same for about oh...six months now.] Of course, I am a bit biased because I happen to be a fan of the punk lolita look myself but if it wasn't a well made wallpaper I would have just said "kudos" and been done with it. But...I really enjoyed what you did with this, especially the way you suggested the slightly out of focus play of light in the backround. Beautiful details, and I love the color scheme. "I would have to say I like the concept for the wallpaper, my only suggestion is to try and maintain continuity it would probally work better if you made the tubes floating up look more two-dimensional, like the character in focus. The tubes and feathers look a little bit too 3-D, which makes them look a bit detached from the entire picture instead of intertwined like they're supposed to be. The idea and colors are good, if you tweak the tubes they should pull the piece together much better."

I actually like the really dark eyeshadow, although I think with a wall that's this blurred and wet and rainy putting "deja vu" in a more crisp and clean font would have worked much better...I think you were trying to go for a more subltle look by having it streaky, but I think it would have pulled the wallpaper together a lot better."

"Meh, I'm really not feeling it... I mean, kudos to you for getting creative and using something other then a scan for your wallpaper, but unfortunatley the elements don't go together at all. It would have worked a lot better if you had traced the figurine into a 2-d image so that at least she would match with the image in the front of the wall...In addition I don't like the crystalized backround, there's too much pattern and clouds and randomness and not enough common elements to pull this together into a solid wallpaper."

"Hm, it's a very pretty eye candy type of wall, my suggestion to you would be to make the stars and the galaxies behind her a bit softer, since the sharpness clashes a little with the smooth glow around Usagi and her wings...a softer glow around the stars would match much better with the visual feel for this wall. Also, I definintley think making the planets less prominent would be a good idea so that they don't take so much away from the main focus, which is the character in this particular piece."

"Oh my goodness...the thumbnail looked intriging but the image...It needs some work. The red would work better with the yellow if the yellow wasn't so much of a neon kind of yellow leaning towards green...It makes it seem as though there are too many clashing colors instead of having the warm clean yet smouldering effect you were likley going for. The image itself is rough...the lines need to be cleaned up. In a simple minimalistic wall like this a lot of emphasis falls on the lineart and how crisp it appears...Having rough edges takes away from what would have been a very nice piece of work."

"I always enjoy coming across wallpapers like this one...You can tell a lot of effort and hard work went into them, and the result is absolutley awesome. The feel of the pushpins, the cork board and even the transparent tape are very well rendered and realistic, and the images you chose do work well as scraps and photographs. Very nicley done."

"I like the reverse sillouette of the character and the outline of it very much, as well as the very distinctive text used at the bottom with the feather. The only iffy thing about this wallpaper is the rendered clouds...They seem a bit too pixellated and harsh for the flowing feel of the image. A bit softer and more realistic may have come across a bit better."

"I feel like you could have done more to give this wallpaper a little more depth and a little more perspective, just because you can see that there is space between the three godesses but there doesn't seem to be space between them and the backround...They seem to be sitting in front of their enviroment instead of being a part of it. Just adding some floating petals or mist in front of the girls and between them would have created a much tighter looking image that would have made them look like they belonged in their enviroment.

I could have done without the slight blur in the lower right hand corner, the image would look stronger without it. As for the trees, I would suggest depicting more of the trunks than the canopy, since the flowers to the right suggest to me that the trio are close to the ground and not high in the air."

"I really like the backround used for this wallpaper...The wall itself is very simple and perfect to use for a desktop, and the flowers in pink look crushed or pressed with impressions of the flower juice or watercolors on paper...The result is quite gorgeous. While I do prefer walls with a bit more complexity, I have to say that this wall achieves what it sets out to do; create a feel of mellow simplicity and delicate elegance."
