After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

The extraction needs some work - see that nick in the outline of her cheek on the left? There's lots of spots in her hair, too. Things like that will keep this wall from ever getting accepted in the gallery.
The outline around her just highlights the extraction issues. Possibly if it was black, that would help? The outlines behind her aren't very smooth either. I like the idea ok, (although, what if they were different colors & the first main outline black? That'd be cool) but the lines aren't smooth. You can clearly see where each anchor point was, especially on her head & the lower spot of her hair.
Don't forget to add a signature to the wall!
She also looks like she was originally a smaller resolution & you blew her up a bit? There are spots where she looks grainy & the heavy outlines (her hair for instance) are pixelated. Try cleaning the image (there's lots of good tutorials for that).
I like the green background & diagonal stripes. And the swooshy thing on the left. I'm not sure about the thick stripe across the bottom.
What are those black dots on the right & on top? They don't make any sense. None of the brushes really fit, either. The flower ones are very odd & don't match the rest at all. The stars & little stripes don't fit either. The circle, spot ones are ok but they've got outline issues, also. And I wouldn't have the ones on the right at all - they clash with the multiple shadow things. Try to go with an overall theme & have everything consistently fit it.

"Extracting Chii isn't a vector. It's an extracted image. A vector would be a complete recreation of her - tracing/outlining her & duplicating the colors.
So, yes, a higher resolution will affect the image. Or you could make the wall bigger but keep her the same size (she'd be much smaller compared to the overall wall, though.) But you really do need to make the wall bigger. 1024 x 768 is so small for most monitors nowadays.
I also agree with Shimazaki that she's too pale. Making two or three layers & then playing with different filters/opacities will give you amazing options. I usually set one layer on overlay and the other on multiply - just mess around, it can really make the image brighter & more vivid. Making the lowest layer slightly blurred can really help, too. If you search for some tutorials on "cleaning scans", that will help a lot.
I also think the leaves/tree looks a little funny. Can you list what you've actually done to the wall? I just see lots of "cut & pasted" leaves? And some clouds in the corner..." View

I still think the text looks bland & needs some brightening. And I still don't care for the characters on the left. The entire thing is very plain. I'd go with the black background, it gives you a starting point to work with. But work on the extraction (I know some good tutorials if you need them). And then clean up the scan & text.

I'm not too sure about the hazy glow around the girl. It looks like it's there to cover up extraction issues rather than out of necessity. If you really want a glow than it should probably be much stronger - like something hugely bright is lit up behind her & really lighting her up.
I don't really like the figures on the left, either. Especially since the girl on the right seems to be the top girl on the left? Have you heard of the rule of thirds? (http://silverlight.co.uk/tutorials/compose_expose/thirds.html) I would try getting rid of the lefthand characters & scoot the main scan over a bit to make her fall in line with the rule of thirds.
The text is also a little pale - I'd work on making it a bit crisper to match the girl.

The reflection really doesn't look right. Her head is too far back & there's no other part of her body visible at all. Have you tried duplicating the layer & then stretching/skewing her upside down? Also, if it's a reflection it needs to be reflective/shiney - it's too dull for a reflection right now.
I also don't care for the wing things - it's pretty but distracting from her. What if that was somehow what she's sitting on? I saw a tutorial somewhere once for making glowing circles for characters to stand on - I really think something similar would be great here.

You might want to toy with coloring it or adding a definite wall - bricks, plant life, etc. You could even consider adding stuff to the room behind her.
