This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
"Fudge I can't edit my post to add more comments. I wanted to add, have you ever thought of doing vectors with just 2 or 3 colours? Your wallpaper reminds of some work by a graphic artist called Ratscape (he does crazy detailed vectors). He did stuff in the same vein of what you did, using 3 colours in the right combination, for a tv show fan campaign. It can have a really stand out dramatic effect. Like just doing the 2 greens and black or something in the case of your wallpaper. I personally like the red lips but the eyes seem a bit strange to me. Maybe too many colours in my mind.
