This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
"I took one glimpse at the thumbnail and I nearly defecated in my pants in an Ergo Proxy fanboy fit of glee. The teal/orange combo works really well with the dark tone of the wall and its spread out just right to find a happy medium of color and darkness. And normally I'm not a fan of giant text on wallpapers, but yours isn't horrible and adds a lil bit of contrast.
It'll be on my desktop tomorrow, since I have to rotate it into my wallpaper cycle of wallpapers made of win.
P.S. YOU HAVE TO FULL VIEW THIS WALL TO SEE ALL THE DETAILS! This is what happens when you comment before actually seeing the whole thing. There are so many details that you miss, like the fractals in the background, and the fact that Re-l is smiling. Complete win.
"This is like a mix between 80's retro style and the Gankutsuou style, tripped out on acid and PCP. A friend of mine commented on the brightness but I responded, "You can't darken the greatest star in the universe."
I think this is the first really awesome wall for Macross F, and I expect to see many more (especially with Sheryl in them) soon.

However, this work is amazing, since piece doesn't just take something and modifies it with color and textures and the like, but you've added new things to the actual work and made it your own. I love your idea with the disco theme and especially the light-up floor that looks slightly reminiscent of a DDR dancepad (which gave my roomie quite a laugh.) But you seriously need to fix Spike's head since I can't see any distinguishing features of a head. You should make it so you can see the ruffles of his hair, that way it looks like Spike and not a amorphous blob.

"This wall is one of those rare walls that work with a good chunk of text, since it's the basis for everything else in the wall. The bleakness and imposing atmosphere of Hueco Mundo, the guiding lights, and the outlined Ichigo; everything in this wall is set as if you reached into our heads and took what image we had when we read that psalm and transformed into a wallpaper.

The best part of this wall is the layers you used. Rukia's skin looks so lifelike that it's almost you're looking at a photograph and not an animated character. The snowy ground actually looks like hard-packed snow, which is a big plus. My only lil problem is the light pixel pattern since it sometimes wrecks havoc with the skintones, especially in the smaller resolutions. (I can't tell if its a pattern or the scan, so I'm assuming. *shrug*)
