"Gorgeous. So devastatinging gorgeous. I love the hair and the eyes! ♥ LOVE.

That being said, I wish there was a no-text version or at least a font/script that matched the overall "feeling" of the wallpaper. (The kanji is a nice touch, imo ^-^ but combined with the font-style and translation, it just feels like a page ripped out of the manga, which kinda detracts from being a magnificent stand-alone piece of art.)

Also, I think you were going for a foreground focus/background blur effect, which works very well compositionally for this piece, but I do also wish wish wish that the feather style in the background (blurred) was the same as the feathers that could be found in the foreground (in her wings). It would be so nice to see =P I actually thought those blurred feathers were crows in the background >.> It took me a second to figure it out that they weren't >.>;

"There are a lot of wallpapers that tend to look worse than their thumbnail pictures, but this is the first thumbnail I've seen that almost destroys the beauty of the wallpaper! The details and ink work on this piece is spectacular! Honestly, I saw the thumb maybe 14 times before I even clicked on it, and now I wish I'd seen it earlier. The details on this thing... Amazing. It seems like there are several different styles but you've handled them so well that I think they blend together perfectly. The only thing that sticks out to me are the designs on her kimono; it's style is drastically different than the beautiful smooth lines of the rest of the image, different enough to draws my attention to the designs on the kimono first, and then my eyes drift to the rest of the picture. My two cents. Cheers, and amazing work!"

"I think this looks great! Like alenas said, the only thing that really stood out to be was the paleness of her skin. Your clouds are starting to look really great on that bright blue sky. The wind's blowing, the feathers are dancing--it looks like there's so much LIFE in the overall picture, but the skin color just falls flat in this dull, and well, lifeless(?) way.

Keep up the good work though =) It definitely caught my eye!"

"Instead of thinking, "What's wrong with this?!" maybe you could think, "How this piece can be better improved?" =) Because I think you have a great start, but I don't think your piece is entirely flawless.

When I first saw a screen cap of this, I clicked on it because I thought it would be a really nice wallpaper. Then I saw a larger version and I thought, "Oh, it's only ok." I think that there is potential in this piece and that your basic ideas may produce something really beautiful, but right now, it hasn't really reached that point. Here are some ideas to think about:

There's nothing in your wall that makes your eyes focus on one, single location. You have three (four, really) conflicting points of interest. You have a big picture of Rukia, the "Bleach" title text that really stands out in white, the flowers in the top left corner, and then the dark orange lines in the background that really draw your eyes downward into nothing but a semi-circle of pink hearts, which don't seem to serve any purpose, other than just to "be" there. It makes me think that you saw that your basic background looked too plain, and that you kept on adding things to look at. (But remember, "adding" more elements is not always the answer ^-^;)

Also, you have a very beautiful theme: an umbrella, and a line from the refrain of "Umbrella." It makes sense because Rukia's holding an umbrella, but you haven't done anything with the song or idea of an umbrella. It's just a picture of an umbrella on a bright background with lots of textures--nothing to do with rain, or friendship... Just a picture of Rukia with an umbrella. It might be overdone, and a little typical, but perhaps you could do something that integrates those ideas from the song into your background.

I like your text (maybe not the "ella" part, like fye-lover said), it's decorated very beautifully by the flower/curve combination on top. But the white flowers, in the top left corner look like they've just been "stamped" onto the picture, because there was too much space in the corner, or you wanted a repeating theme of flowers across the top, or bottom. Same idea with the pink hearts in a semi-circle. Why are they there? They're just... there! They're all pointed in the same angle, too, which looks a little awkward.

If you liked the way your wall turned out, I'd rather not add any suggestions on how to turn your piece around. But think about some of the reasons I wrote on why your wall might not be a coherent piece. And mess around with it a little =) Keep working on it, though. You have a good start!"

"I think this picture is so cute! I couldn't help clicking on the link, I swear =) You know, I think the main charm for me in this picture is its simplicity. I agree it's missing something, like it has too much space or something like that, but at the same time, I feel like a speech or a thought bubble might be a little too tacky...(?) Right now, the wall is very simple and the humor's almost subtle.
