As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. It's just too bad you couldn't find a similar BG image that matches her supposed setting/theme far more than a modern day bridge. I feel you could've done more to the scan to better integrate in it into the chosen BG. What I mean is, the scan is so vibrant that it doesn't match the stock as well as it could; maybe desaturating it would've helped it out." View
