As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. "The texture you put on the cloud stock doesn't match the style of the painting, the text that's overlayed randomly in the top right corner is hard to see and doesn't flow with the rest of the piece, and the extraction on the character/dog/sand dune needs some work. The idea behind it is definitely good, but maybe you should spend some time fine-tuning different aspects of your wallpapers.
Don't take this as a "shot at your pride" or anything, it's just the opinion of a few people who have been doing this for a really long time.
Here are some tips:
Sometimes it's hard to extract artwork because the line width varies, so if you lock the character layer you can paint in a little bit of the lining if it's missing (:
Never be afraid to make a wallpaper without text if the text doesn't seem to fit in correctly. It's always better to have a text-less wallpaper than ruin the flow of a good thing with text in a weird spot!" View

I mean that the facial shape and hair [especially the bangs] just look really awkward. While the text is neat, it seems really small in relativity with the size of the whole image :x And the background single-tone paint splatters are kinda boring, but that's just my opinion. Maybe try working with different colors and types of brushes? :x

This entire wallpaper is too saturated. It's not "textured" or anything nice and artsy, it's just plain oversaturated. The character seems to be extremely low quality, as does the background. The background images are obviously stock with a texture overlayed onto them to make them look more anime-esque. Unfortunately, your plan seems to have backfired. Something about the texture on the stock images makes them look even more like low-quality photographs. In addition, the perspective of the ground and the character is more than a little off. The character has clearly been duplicated, blurred, and put on layer styles such as hard light, overlay, and multiply. While these are handy filters, the key is to use them in moderation. Going overboard makes the image look washed out and dark, not to mention fuzzy around the edges.
