After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
"Aah, not too much to say about this one. I was looking through my old wallpapers and found this as .PSD file. The image took a bit to clean up and make presentable. I added some brushes, a couple textures, a few more effects to the image, some text, and viola~ Defiantly not my best, but I figured I might as well share it with everyone. ^_^ Enjoy~ emoticon

Oh..Well..bout the BG its made by me by the pink's types colors usin the round brushes cuz i wanted it to look simple and soft!!And thats all bout it! :D

eventually i can submit this wal XD the first Akagi wallpaper EVER :p
for those who don't know this show, just know that IT TOTALLY KICKS ASSES! i've been following it for quite a while now (the release is a bit slow paced, but excellent, thanks to The Triad) and i must say it's one of my favourites, for the drawing style and the atmosphere of the whole thing. Imagine Hikaru No Go with a hero that is evil, smokes, cheats, fights to death and is involved with the yakuza... that would be Akagi :)
So this wall is my entry for the -last- challenge of the Battlegrounds with the Crimson Orchestra, since we are retiring and creating our own group :)
The main annoying thing of this challenge were boarders. boarders are lame. boarders are ugly. boarders DO NOT ftw. so i had to change all that and imagine boarders that would fit the anime, my wall, and a desktop.
so well, first, i vectored Akagi from a -very- bad quality scan i found on google, then put it on some kind of old paper textured backround, that i "darkenized" with different grunge brushes (thx Asunder from deviantart)
i then took my favourite looking mahjong tile and did the same with it, then added text (something simple, that fits the thing).

"Well the hardest part of the whole wallpaper process to write something about your wall >.<
I've never seen or watched hack SIGN before , but when I stumbled upon the scan which is used in the wall I couldn't resist.
The background is supposed to look like it's eating the character and that he's slowly disappearing. In the background there is also a matrix kinda effect (made with filters) to enhance the tech feeling and fill out the empty black space.
It took me almost the whole day to finish it, but it was time well worth spending

"Made with Photoshop CS2.
I had to vector a photo I took from the panel ( I have no scanner !!).
The Vector took me 4 hours, it was pretty hard to make the hair.

actually i got a request quite some time ago from some friends to make them a hack sign based tshirt with chars on it from the series. so thats how it turned out. the only problem was that it was hard to find good images of the chars, back when the series was still "new".
Was it difficult to achieve this aim?
well i tried to bring out each characters style, feathers for subaru and of course the digital number texture thing theme for tsukasa. other than that i dont think it was too hard, since it was made for shirts originally so it had to be fairly simple

well, the thing i dont like is that i kinda had to "cut" some away from subaru since i only found like one good image of her which was usable.

there are 2 versions of this paper, one for tsukasa, one for subaru. if you like either of them, you might want to check out the other one aswell ;)

It's pretty simple but I wanted to make a brighter wallpaper since most of my others have been kinda dark =^.^= It didn't take that long and I hope you like it :3
