As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. But whenever I look to this wallpaper I can't help to notice there's something wrong with it...and I finally realized what it was: the shadow direction, I dunno if this was made on purpose but it looks weird. I mean, look at the window's shadow, it goes off on whatever Hibari is on, but Hibari and the lil' bird portray no shadow, instead they're reflected on the window's glass. Result: Hibari seems to be floating.

I like how Nunnally is the main point of the whole wall leaving the background and the sakura petals (sakura+beach=?) out of focus. It definitely gives the wall some depth.
Just a thing to mention: I think the black outlines of Nunnally's shirt or whatever she's wearing stick out way too much in comparision with her hair and hands. I don't feel that black was a good color to pick.
But apart of that, kudos to Sakura for vectoring her! And kudos to you Kitten for painting such a beautiful beach < 3
