This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Because if you submitted to main and they sent it to session, there are a few dumb mods out there that don't know how to tell the difference between a good paper and a bad one. I've seen so many horrible wallpapers accepted and so many really good ones rejected because the "text" or something is off when on the horrible walls accepted are ALL off and not wallpaper worthy. I suggest you submit this one to the main gallery, I see nothing wrong with it. I love the style and the designs really bring out the theme of the brothers. Somehow it feels like the staff is slacking at their job." View

"First of all i would get rid of everything except the flowers and text outlined in white. And perhaps add the two that are in the background in the middle somehow faded in the edges and the background just a simple type color of the beige you have there. The green and the yellow with some white streaks don't look so good nor does the box to the right with the characters. Just keep it to that one color and see what comes out of it. Good luck! Instead of having soo many characters just layed out on the page. Maybe add some fancy background or boxes like the screen where you pick the characters. Otherwise its not really that original. "The scan is rough but sketchy and if thats what you want it to look like then i would suggest changing the background, its too dark and sharp compared to the image thats bright and sketchy and rough. Try making a background that matches the roughness and sketchyness of the image, or just redo the image so that its clear without any roughness. The way it looks right now is a drawing in the middle of a graphic background. And doesn't blend well at all, maybe try putting a dojo in the background or some lighter fancy design. Otherwise its cute." View

"I suggest picking a background that actually fits in with your image. She's very 2 dimensional and sketchy and your background is very blurry and busy. Try simplifying it so that it matches her to some extent. As well as finding colors that don't distract from her, but blend in and cause your eye to focus from her all the way throughout the page. There is something about her that just doesn't look right, i dunno its probably just me, maybe clean her up a bit.
With this new version where you added the dark shadows completely throws it off, i can't even see the emblem anymore. Try using a softer color as well as different background to match her. Like a cartoony pumpkin or something related to her. ^.^ Good luck!" View
