StellarXInochi's wallpaper is a beautiful piece of art combined with excellent design and an outstanding concept. The soft, yet bright colors create a fairytale-like atmosphere, and the water-color-like execution meets a successful typograhy and makes the wallpaper something special.
"The one thing that bothers me the most about your wall is the writing. The font you picked, and the color, don't go well with the actual meaning of the text. Maybe you could try a cursive / handwriting font in a lighter color and with an outerglow effect? [if you don't know how to do that, drop me a PM ;) ]. I'm sure that would look better.
Then, the starfield looks a bit irrealistic [within the limits of anime wallpapers, of course :) ]. Here's a suggestion that might make it look better: create a gradient in dark / light blue shades and paste it in a layer directly above the stars. You can have it horizontal or tilted, depending on how it looks best. Set the blending mode to either "Multiply" or "Overlay" [depending on which looks better] and play around with the opacity until you're happy with the result.

I haven't seen many wallpapers which had actuall pictures of the characters to make it to the gallery, so maybe you should consider making the background from scratch and putting in something more... abstract? A stars-and-clouds background would fit nicely, I think, and would give yor wallpaper a sci-fi/mystic aura as well XD You can find many tutorials on how to do that posted on DeviantART, for instance."
