After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! The background is kinda poor. I think you should use textures and light effects on it.
Also the brushes are very plain. You may think add them some filters. Or better, keep them that way and make some vector pattern background with a light effects. A simple gradient won't do it.
Find something to do with the background (don't overdo it!), and then make the brushes fit it, and you're done. It's a very cool concept, it can end very well.

It's a good one, can't believe it's your first wallpaper. The shot was nice, enough to be a wallpaper itself. The filters and burning really helped cleaning the original's imperfection.
I like your work, but it feels like it isn't very distant of the source image (not very original). The bottom right corner is a bit coo-coo with that quart-white-haired-head (a two-objects frame may be interesting), and the mid-upper right side has a black rectangle that feels out of the composition (in the source image its a visible water-tank-like, but cropped in your wallpaper you don't know what it is and don't look very well.
Keep it going, hope to see new works, and welcome to AP.
