And note that this will be my first critique in a year.
But lets begin.
First of all, I wonderful idea!
I was immediately drawn to this image because of how wonderful a love story there is between these two.
But what seems to be my greatest negative is that the wallpaper, for all its simplicity, can seem a bit too simple.
So what I suppose is that the background and the vectoring could have a much warmer feel, warmer colors and shapes.
Its a wallpaper about a happy embrace, so reflect the warmth and tenderness of that embrace some more in your wallpaper.
And perhaps allow the background to pull our eyes towards those two, and into that sweet embrace! ^_^
I usually hand out a long detailed comment post whenever I go about making suggestions, but lately there hasn't been too much of a need for that.
For your wallpaper submission I recommend fixing the first street light, the one with the triple lights closest to Lelouch. Rough edges seemed to have creeped in.
As for recommendations, the wall could indeed use some more funkiness in terms of perhaps more people, and how about some window lights for the buildings?

A simple few ideas of what could be done to improve the wall, and your off reinventing the whole project into something completely different, and even more amazing!
Here the focus gets taken from an empty crying Yuki alone in a room, into one lost in the darkness of the outside world.
But on the things that could be done now to improve it even further, I will have to say is making the falling leaves here smooth, I can see they have some rough edges to themselves.
Also when looking upon it I kinda fail to be struck with any striking colors or textures, which is something that this picture might really need, perhaps adding a third color, more darkness unto the objects behind Yuki.
Whatever you can do to make this perhaps a more darker, scarier place for Yuki, which I do wish she wouldn't be in, but that's what you get when you throw in your lot with Vampires.. " View

"I actually thought since this was a minimal wall, there would not be too much I could write about, but I was wrong. xD
So here is what I have.
First I began to notice what everyone else was saying, that the Kanji in this wall seemed too blurred and out of focus, something that needs to be corrected and would most likely also benefit from some depth.
Secondly I went on to focus a bit on the half crescent object behind Sasuke. I noticed for some strange reason it was not perfectly symmetrical, and thus made the whole wallpaper somewhat troubled every time I looked at it. But among smaller things to it, I see a small patch of black hanging out near the bottom right edge of the object, and further towards the center of the bottom, where Sasuke and the object meet, there are still left over pixels.
I noticed the half crescent object behind Sasuke is not perfectly symmetrical, also im seeing a small piece of black hanging out above the lower right edge of the symbol, while there is still a left over shard just to the left of Sasuke where the bottom of the symbol and his robe meet.
From there I went on to look at anything else that was left over from vectoring, and I saw it along the left side of Sasuke's robe more towards the bottom and then at the bottom, also there are some left over pixels along the sides of his feet.
I'm gonna leave notes on where I saw those.
And last but not least, to add an idea.
I see that Sasuke’s head and hair for the most part has shadowing; maybe this can be applied a bit to the rest of him. It would certainly give him some better depth apart from the other objects.
And that is my bag of things, I hope you can make good use of some of it.
You took the concept with the window and gave it a whole new spin!
Also the tear of blood is absolutely compelling, I love it!
The hair itself now has a lot of the depth it needed too!
But its also where I can begin letting you know what could still be improved.
Do you see her hair running down on the left side, that isn't tied down?
The edges there are still rough, try smoothing that out.
Also look at her neck, on the left side I see the same problem, some of the same old pixelated roughness.
I know, lots of fine detail.
But here are some things that need even more attention.
The key necklace around her neck still stands out for the wrong reasons, it is out of focus and not well vectored, work on it to bring it into as much focus as the rest of Yuki.
As for the background, the feeling of a room is indeed absent, try putting at least something in behind her, walls most importantly, you can give it detail if you want, though the focus should still remain on Yuki more than anything else, or anyone else.
And the Vampire Knight font, try to make it perhaps not as large and maybe a different color, I recommend the most minimal in the picture, which is blood red, to some extend you could make it red. Also the size might best be only double as big as your signature.
It could perhaps be located in the right bottom corner opposite to your signature.
But its all up to your artistic genius of course! ^_^" View

"Here is what I have to offer.
One of the first things I have noticed here are that you attempted to make the character stand out more apart from the space background by adding an additional striped foreground in behind her.
Now the problem here seems to be that the girl herself and the foreground she is placed in front of are not very solid. Rather the best way of going about making the character more stable is to perhaps entirely reduce her faded opacity, and making the striped foreground she is in front of only fade out once it begins to reach out over the stars.
Now as me move out over towards the stars, we also can see a few problems.
First off the position of the stars is important, you did a great job with them towards the lower left of the image, but when we look up towards the top ends of the wallpaper, we see that a lot of the stars seemed to get cluttered, this of course does not look as natural because in reality most stars so close run into something I call "gravity trouble". xD
The trick here can be to just reduce the amount of stars, and overall make all the stars just different sizes and different amounts of brightness.
Also when you look at the bottom of the image, next to your signature, we see a patch of stars that stands out a bit too much.
As we look at the right edge of this patch we see it abruptly cut off, so I may recommend that if you want to try and continue this along the bottom, that you might wanna fade it out once it reached unto the girl, or perhaps to just go ahead and remove it entirely.
Now as we go up we see the lines you have created which at their ends have different symbols, a great idea! But I somehow was curious as to why their variety ended going to the left and only one kind of symbol is used, also I see those lines to stand out a bit too much, perhaps the trick here could be to make them just transparent enough to be visible.
Also the eighth line from the right is a little crooked, minor detail, I know! xD
But lets actually go into the minor detail parts which are actually just as important as anything else.
When I took a good look unto the girl.. For the sake of good wallpaper art of course!
I noticed that the girls hair was a little rough around the edges, as well as the bangs and the rest overall.
And then finally came a suggestion that came to me when I looked unto the girls sword.
This magical item carries with itself a red glow of runes over the hand guard and most of the blade. It came to me that maybe you wanna try to make that red glow reflect off the girls face and hair a bit, it would serve a great and unique attention getting element to the image.. In my opinion of course.
Overall I think you did a good job already, now that I have voiced my ideas, you can see what you wanna take into consideration, otherwise I have posted notes in all the places I suggested could be corrected.

And of course the window, I in fact have myself attempted to create a Vampire Knight wallpaper that encompassed windows in the background, so I know the struggles that sometimes can arise with them. But there are definitely things you can do to make it look very good.
I recommend making the beams stand out more by perhaps giving them more depths and shape around the edges, perhaps embossing them may help. But most importantly there needs to be more light through the windows, and that light can possibly be make to spill out over the edges of the beams themselves.
And last but not least (Even the greatest wallpaper can always be improved somehow) we need to take a closer look at Yuki's hair again, if you have seen the ending video of Vampire knight, there is a distinct style to Yuki's hair that is not visible here. Her hair branches out from the top left of her head, one line of hair falls down to her left, while another line of hair makes a right downward curve across her head, this was done to be able to place the rose into her hair, and that is why it should be included here, to make the rose look like it is resting on something.
And because im afraid that even I would not understand something like that so easily, and for all adhesive purposes, I have included this quick image from youtube to hopefully explain a little of what I mean.
First of all for one who has seen the anime, I require a definite ten foot distance from these two, but that should not keep you from making them as "attractive" looking as possible. To achieve this I concur that the right hand of the left girl (Sorry that im not using any names here.) might or should be fixed up a little if the original vector differs in that spot. And one other things I noticed that everyone else likely missed is that at the top of their heads where their hair comes together, you will see a number of little white pixel shards still lingering. Try working on these two things, and for overall value of the wallpaper I recommend that you do compel more focus on the two just enough to make them a bit more focus compelling in the vast blue hues of the image.

Which is never the less a good thing, because its always a little daunting to get the right contrasts down in the near darkness of space, which this wallpaper easily managed to achieve. I also particularly lose the color depths of Deianera and Age in this creation, it really adds to the overall vastness of the shot in that they truly are floating out there in the vastness of the final frontier. And one other things I noticed that everyone else likely missed is that at the top of their heads where their hair comes together, you will see a number of little white pixel shards still lingering. Try working on these two things, and for overall value of the wallpaper I recommend that you do compel more focus on the two just enough to make them a bit more focus compelling in the vast blue hues of the image.

"It seems that a human being is indeed capable of completely creating a wall as mind bogglingly detailed as this, the sheer fact alone that the starfield and every bit of waters reflecting it are praisingly accurate. The little girl in the midst of all of it sets the sheer scale of the entire scene showing with it the level of quality that has been put into this, even the near silhouetted of the trees leaving the edge of accuracy of the overall piece. "They just don't make animes like it anymore, and in my opinion thats also the case with this wallpaper. Which is never the less a good thing, because its always a little daunting to get the right contrasts down in the near darkness of space, which this wallpaper easily managed to achieve. I also particularly lose the color depths of Deianera and Age in this creation, it really adds to the overall vastness of the shot in that they truly are floating out there in the vastness of the final frontier. So some definite kudos for this Heroic Age wall, its the best there is right now!"View
