After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! I agree with them though. I recommend taking off the grain filter from the water, it doesn't match the style compared to the vector. Try maybe putting just one smaller Blur filter on the vector, to soften him up a bit. The big X is bad quality, try just typing it on bigger size. The white background needs to be filled with something. Maybe you can try to fill it in with some clouds or a far away beach scene. There should be some tutorials on Deviantart.com. Lookin good so far, can't wait to see it done! " View

"Nice concept, you've done a good job so far. I advice lowering the opacity of the red outer glow around the character a bit. And the flame render cuts off a lot, and the left corner you can see a erased streak. Maybe you can put your eraser on a medium sized brush and put it's opacity to 15% and gradually erase away the edges. This will hopefully blend the flame render to the background better. The left side is very blank and empty. The text-texture at the bottom stands out to randomly, don't really think it's needed. "OMG take off the paint daub filter asap! It hurts my eyes >.<. It doesn't match the splatter you did on the right side (which is awesome by the way). The text is really cool. I like the background texture on the second choice better. Also try maybe taking off or lowering the opacity on the outer glow on the character. It makes him pop off the background to much, I think he would look sharper and better other way. Try using the scan of him, with no filters added. Duplicate the scan layer twice. Bottom scan layer use the Noise -> Median filter on him if you want a softer smudge look. On the top scan layer above that try putting it's opacity to 50% and see what you think? " View

"I'm glad you took my advice about the roses. I love the dark roses at the bottom, the roses at the top left I think stand out to much. Maybe try making them darker, or making the background underneath that corner darker, with the light background and faded colors of the roses it sort of looks flat ya know? The roses to the right that oswari9 commented about are a bit bright maybe that's why oswari9 doesn't like them. Maybe if you try to give them a darker gradient on top of it it might seem to blend in better with the bottom roses. Looking good so far, don't give up! " View

The scan is just so pretty, and I agree with you the text is a bit blurry. I think it's because you added a duplicate layer of the text like a shadow. Maybe if you turn the shadow to a white color, it will make the text not look so blurry and pop out at ya. I also suggest turning the font from green to blue, since the colors on the character's scan seem to sway towards the blue side. The textures are pretty and not to grungey at all, but the background still needs a bit more to it. Great job on the extraction, and fog on her. Keep up the good work. " View
