While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
You need papers to download scans, yes. However, you don't have to BUY them necessarily. Check the faq for more details... basically, just be active on the website and you'll be fine.

I love this wallpaper as much as I love Vandread. It's wonderful that not all wallpaper makers focus on the main characters, especially in a series like that were there are many from which to choose. The background is really cool and it goes perfectly well with the colors of the clothes Ezra is wearing. The wink is lovely and provides a warm expression that, in a way, ressembles the warmth the background provides. Most important of all is the works high quality, I hate seing works that are all blurry (not on purpose) or not well defined. Great job!! Keep working like this!! =) " View

I think it doesn't make much sense the fact that the text says "Be brave" and the background is a lovely house with some trees surrounding it. Besides, the clouds in the sky do not help at all create any fear or understand why the character should be brave. is he looking at something horrible?? Desregarding this criticism, I have to say the character's definitions are great! And you can tell the author spend a lot of time creating this wallpaper. Congrats!! =)" View

The light in the buildings of the background match perfectly with the flourescent green of the text. And that cloudy effect just behind the tittle looks terrific. Again, the green of the title mathes with the whole wallpaper. Besides the character is in a really cool position and, it may be my imagination, but the character seems to be looking at the cloudy line, which, by the way, creates harmony." View
