This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Love Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and this pose of Soi Fon really fits the theme.
I would have liked to see more bamboo but it would of course obstruct the cool vector of her.
I see you made the hills more smoother than jagged but I think the latter would have been better.

The vector is pretty crisp for your premiere vector.
I like the text which has a sort of grungey-ness to it. And for reason the title, "The Precious" makes Ryuk seems ;ike Golem from The Lord of the Rings..therefore the wall has some humour to it.
I like the combo of Black, White and Red which has a stark contrast to eachother. It's one of the best colour combos to use.

This wall is so frekkin awesome. The vector is killer and the re-dressin of Aya and creating the wall to resemble the Kill Bill poster...I absolutely love it. And this yellowish orange is one of my fave shades of yellow so you definitely gettin props for this ^_^

Great choice of scan, it's very beautiful and you've created a beautiful background to go with it. The extraction of the scan is spot on. There are no jagged edges or anything.

"I absolutely love this scan of sanzo's, one of my faves of his.
Anywayz I'm not a big fan of the background. Sanzo's personality isn't able to carry such a colourful, fancy background. The background should be a lot darker and fitting to his character...maybe variations of purple would do the trick as that's the colour he's mostly associated with.
I prefer the 2nd version because the colours are more mellow, but still too fancy for him and the choice of scan." View
