As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

you certainly got the effort down,...the shadows, the cliffs, those flying thingies >xD
i guess the only thing you lack is experience. The cliffs are far too detailed, although theres nothing wrong with that, the scan doesnt blend in too well wit it. The sky fish that are in the middle of the wall doesnt seem to really belong there as it messes with the perspective. Its like, you cant tell wether they are suppose to be as big as her palm or as big as a bus, cuz the ones that look farther away seem bigger than the one thats closer to her.
and if that is a body of water on the left side, maybe it shoulda been more pronounced >_<.
all in all...its a good wall, I really like those green streaks, and you matched her as best as i think it coulda been to that piece. the perspective is a bit weird, but the effort is definitely there.

the scan looks nicely cleaned and although It looks like it took a quality hit, it looks really great on the muted colors of the bg >xD

those vectors are pretty damn good though. im not the most creative guy, so i guess i cant fully appreciate this wall. but when I look at it....well les just say I told tate that even if i had a gun to my head, i wouldnt be able to make a wall like that. It wanders of yet theres a sense of direction and at the same time....uncertainty @~1@ and I guess thats what strikes me the most lol.

and i didnt really know...u were gonna add more than one building there. Actually, i thought 2 more structures next to that big one was enough, and I thought you liked the stock buildings @~1@.......but hey, you made more so more power to you >xD. The buildings are cool cept they are lacking a bit of detail, although removing those textures was a guud move >xD. Its pretty nice for a first try! ...and those reflections imo are way better than the first ones.
Guud job keeping it dark, it sets the mood and blends the character rather nicely. Thats something ill always have trouble on -_-
anyway......as for your computer slowing down.........try turning off the layer thumbnails by rightclicking on the layers window and choose "none"....those thumbnails doesnt do anything but slow down your computer anyway-_-. If you wanna choose a layer and your confused what layer it is....just choose teh regular arrow tool and right click on an opaque part of the picture you wish to mess around with and it should give you a menu of all the layers that are layered on whichever area you picked @~1@......also try keeping your history list as small as possible........I keep 20 >xD. My laptop is pretty damn slow too, so i try to squeeze out as much power as it can give me -____-
