After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! "I'm not a big fan of this wallpaper, and there are multiple reasons for this. First I want to say that I did not even realize this was an Eva wallpaper until I read it underneath the Untitled, which means I do not know who the character you have in the wallpaper is she's so indistinguishable, so you may need to work on brining her to life and having her stand out more. Second, it just looks unappealing, because black on black on black just doesn't work, especially when there seems to be three distinct shades of it, not like it being one continuous shade as the theme, so the color scheme would also need revising. Third, the background is too indistinct and looks too messy. I understand and like the concept of having the people's heads there in the background, but if you're going to go through the effort of putting them in there, then you should have them stand out too, but makes sure that if you do make them stand out more, then don't fight with the focal point of your wallpaper, this girl. Fourth, the Nerv symbol, if you are going to put it into the wall, make sure people can clearly see that too. In conclusion, I like the idea of the character being in a room and with the sort of heads of other characters on, what I want to assume is the wall to a room. Great idea, but if you're going to make the character sit in a room, and a dark one at that, you might want to still shade the character in with some color, that way we know who it is and can see her emotions better. After that, you can keep the carpet dark as it does seem to work with the dark roomed theme, but make the wallpaper's scene of all those people kinda stand out a little, and this can probably be done by making it look like the scene is being projected onto the wall, which then give the wallpaper the reason for the room the character is in for being dark, since projections are normally played in a dark room. All in all, I think your wallpaper needs a lot of work. The base concept is good, but it just will not do in this state, and will need an all-around revision before it can come out of session zero. I would argue the contrary. Despite what the FAQ says, an artist should not be required to watermark his/her wallpaper, but if you do make sure it's both small and in a corner. A watermark that is too big will only battle with your image for supremacy, which will ruin the wallpaper. Also, if you can remove the look that the characters were direct ports over from the scan used to make this wall, then I'd say the wall would be ready to come out of session zero. The character location and logo placement is perfect, as is the simple background. you see wallpapers are not meant to be something that has a million things explode onto the screen at once, just something simple and sweet to look at." I would not suggest this, but IF you do watermark your wallpaper, make it small and in a corner. Watermarks that are too big, will only invade your wallpaper, and thus detract from the focal point you set for it. It is generally nice to credit your wallpaper after the work you put into them, but don't make the credit you give to yourself ruin the wallpaper.

KS is an under-rated anime, and although season 2 was total crap, season one was one of the most enjoyable anime I have seen in a while, so for that I want to thank you. Second I want to say that I like where you're headed with this wallpaper. The main picture just seems cut off by all the wording, but is a great picture to use. I would suggest making use of the sides, by having the words and phrases kinda slide out from underneath the bottom of the character. This is because the character is the focal point of the wallpaper, with the words being second. Cutting off the character at the top like this only takes away from that vocal point, and in the end confuses your viewer. Once you rescale or move or shift your main picture, I'd consider maybe decorating the background if you want, but it is fine (the background that being) the way it is now. "Well I like the concept, but getting from concept to wallpaper is a long process, so here's what I don't like about the wallpaper:
The characters are great, and the concept of them on paper is good, but the characters all kinda mold into each other tiny bit too much. This is because each individual pages are not defined enough. I had to squint to see the border of each page, which is a problem and only nullifies the concept. You need to spread the pages out more, and then this will allow more room for the characters to stand out. The table background is needed, but when you use it as a border, make sure it's just a sort of border. the wooden table takes up at least 1/3 of the wallpaper itself, which makes me feel like you got lazy on content. You need to make the wooden table just a border, and keep the space it takes up to a minimum so it doesn't battle with the overall picture in general, which is what it does right now with the wallpaper in its current state." I think the exact opposite actually. The cloudy effect is nice, but it gets in the way of her hand, which is something you don't want. The focus on the wallpaper is the fact that she is extending her hand to you, and distorting that in any way will make the wallpaper lose some face value and credibility. Maybe if the clouds go underneath her, like say, having her stand on them, would work, because then you could enforce that fact that she is heavenly in nature, and that in taking her hand you could join her on "cloud 9", but blurring and fading the very focal point of the paper is something you should remove. A border along the bottom could work, but make sure the hand is purely visible, since both her and the hand are the things most visible, or at least first visited by the viewers eyes." View

"First off, you need to work on the color scheme. I would say that the colors are in a state of emergency they are that bad right now. I understand the concept of the butterfly illuminating color onto the character, but having the color-less, light-lacking character be a mis of white and bashe is completely dull and unimaginative. If I want to stare at something white and bashe, I'll look at the plastered walls in my living room. Maybe having the character be dark, while having the butterfly illuminate, I don't know, the prism of natural light? That could work. Second, make the butterfly clear. It's blurred, and no one wants to stand at pixles that are fighting to the death or their desktop. I'm not looking at Varrhis Valaho, I'm looking at my computer, so make the picture clear. Third, you could have picked a hell of a better anime to do a wall for than Naruto, so if you want to make yourself known, then you need to do something different. Flooding an already saturated field of wallpapers in Naruto won't work unless you really hit the nail on the head, but since it's already driven into the wall, if you hit it again you might bring down the whole stub. Fourth, you need to either a) get rid of the watermarked name or b) make it a different color and semi-transparent in nature. People who download the wallpaper because they like the character, will obviously know who it is, so there's no real need to make a blurry, typed-in-word-then-added-shade-underneath-the-characters character name. Fifth, make the background more noticeable. If the character is not supposed to be colored or 'vivid' that does not mean the ground he stands on and surrounds has to be either. The was it looks now it looks like he happens to be floating in mid-air on a non-cloudy day where the sun just set over the hill in the distance. Your wallpaper in conclusion is in emergency state. It's lost its fingers and needs them surgically reattached in a few hours if it hopes to actually be able to grip things further in its lifetime. Point is, this wallpaper needs work, badly. I would suggest either a color scheme change, and a reworking of the main art and design, or to completely go back to a blank page on the drawing board." View

"I actually really do not like this wallpaper. First, Haruhi looks like she was Ctrl + Ved into the wallpaper. Then there's the fact that there's nothing else besides Haruhi really in the pic. I mean the background is overly-simplistic and does not work at all with the color scheme of Haruhi, and that's a problem when the wall is meant to draw attention to Haruhi. Third, there's the fact that Haruhi illuminates random colors from her body in an attempt to bloom the wallpaper. It does the job alright but makes me feel epileptic when viewing it. Then there's the very inconsistent and completely random lettering, which makes it feel like I'm entering a code to sign up for a site to make sure it's not a bot doing the sign-ups. The point is, there's too much inconsistency throughout the wallpaper. A background that doesn't fit with the color scheme, a poor looking Haruhi, a terrible design of illuminating colors, and schitzophrenic lettering. I'd really considering starting for scratch, but at the minimum, this deserves another trail in session zero." View

"1. I never said it sucks, get your quotes right.
2. Haruhi 'decided' what to look like, what does that have to do with anything and whatever do you mean?
3. I stated I didn't like the wall, and I stated why. the background is overly simplistic. You can't take a picture that's been used a gazillion times, vector it, add a simple wallpaper, some easily 5-seconds-to-put-together lettering and claim it to be something 'innovative'. This is why I really think the wallpaper barely had any time put into it and that I think it deserves a second span in session zero."

"I actually love the wallpaper. This is how you lay out a wallpaper, and make a background that only compliments the focused figure of the wallpaper. My only complaint is that the characters look too bloomed. They're are way too bright and illuminated compared to the background. It you even out this huge contrasting shades problem, then the wallpaper, I would think, would be ready to come out of session zero."View

"I actually really do not like this wallpaper. First, Haruhi looks like she was Ctrl + Ved into the wallpaper. Then there's the fact that there's nothing else besides Haruhi really in the pic. I mean the background is overly-simplistic and does not work at all with the color scheme of Haruhi, and that's a problem when the wall is meant to draw attention to Haruhi. Third, there's the fact that Haruhi illuminates random colors from her body in an attempt to bloom the wallpaper. It does the job alright but makes me feel epileptic when viewing it. Then there's the very inconsistent and completely random lettering, which makes it feel like I'm entering a code to sign up for a site to make sure it's not a bot doing the sign-ups. The point is, there's too much inconsistency throughout the wallpaper. A background that doesn't fit with the color scheme, a poor looking Haruhi, a terrible design of illuminating colors, and schitzophrenic lettering. I'd really considering starting for scratch, but at the minimum, this deserves another trail in session zero."View
