"You should've chosen a different scan. The whole point of vectoring is to improve a scan - not destroy a beautiful work.

I understand that many people admire redjuice's works and want to wall them, however, making greasy eyelashes, chunky hair that doesn't suit your smudging style and choosing completely off-colors as mentioned by people above is not a very artistic approach.

As mentioned already, your wallpapers don't look like they really require any tablet work. I think you need more practice with it.

Sorry if I'm too harsh, but this is for your own good and I hope that for once you'd take some critics.

"Haha, I love this wallpaper for several reasons:
a) It's Cloud
b) ZOMG ITS CLOUD
c) KURAUDooooooAHHHHHHHH < 3

The reso's too small for my monitor but this is great work and you should be proud of yourself. : 3 you kept his looks too, which is awesome.

If there's a couple of things I would get really picky about are the hair and the shading. The hair looks a tad too thick and chunky and the shading could have more detail. i.e. his mouth.
But it's better than anything I can do so I'll just

uhm compared to the original scan, you've brought so much more focus on the face and maybe that's why I think his mouth looks really flat. The original had a wider line that really shows the puff of his lips and the shape but this one doesn't look like a mouth.

Also, I understand the fact that you want to smudge your vector and it looks very clean and nice, but leaving some well defined brush marks on your character can make him look more defined and natural. =D that's just my personal opinion. Apart from that, good job~"

This is great for mouse work, but the clouds look too unnatural and smudged - they're too "fixed" and should be more soft and spreading imo.
If you could make the sun brighter, I think it would also enhance the landscape.

"I admire your patience in attempting CLAMP. The vector's really nice.
If you don't mind, I want to point a few things out:
If parts of his body are on fire, the background and the whole landscape should light up. Currently, you have a darker background than that of the original scan. With photoshop, you can add more lighting effects because CLAMP hand color their works and they don't have appliances like linear dodge etc.
Also, the text in the background is kind of distracting. Maybe you can change the font?

But I think as SHiNN said, the lines are kind of thick. It looks like as if you smudged within the lines, making her look flat. My suggestion is maybe you should make the colors/shading on her look more defined so that she won't look too smudged like the one in the original scan. congrats on the feature~"

Cute concept. The Japanese text is wrong though. If you want to write "Tea Shop" in katakana it should be チィーショップ Also, if you're writing vertically the small subtitle in english should be on the left side, since the reading is from right to left. ;)
