It is really religious-y but at the same time, it isn't really religious-y...
Like the gold halo is kinda like the Byzantine icons and the crystals are like Jesus's crown of thorns, but Fay's robe has that really pretty spiral design that is more like Art Deco...

"I like the concept and I think it's a good start.

A few suggestions that you can ignore:
- Perhaps you should try blending Freedert more into the background. For example, you could fade the colors a bit or create stonger contrast between the red and the lighter colors. If you make Freedert faded or fuzzy a little (like falling snow? stuck on a camera lense? haha, sorry, I don't know what I'm talking about either...), it might make her seem like she's being slowly covered in snow. You could also make the background red instead, and cover her with rose petals instead. Not sure how it would look, but you could always try it and see.
-I think it would be interesting to see if you changed the "at her funeral" line to a different font and maybe a lighter color. Again, dunno how it would look, but maybe try it out and see how it turns out."
