Leaving that aside, I do love the overall lighting of the wallpaper, although something feels out of place regarding the contrast between Rei and the floorboards. The reddish tone of her gloves and torso seems odd, as well. Although I do have a rather . . . not so pleasant thought on what it is.

"It's been a while, Cybril. Apologies on relinquishing contact, I've been killed by every single thing that has happened these few months.
First off, I would like to say, you really do keep getting better. Or rather, you never did cease to amaze me. If I remember correctly, we both started publishing wallpapers on AP around the same time. Yet, you're so much better than me. I'm envious. I really am.

The background on this wallpaper is really what I'm after. I might have said this once before but my personal preference of wallpapers are those that are more linear in color, aka. monochromatic, while retaining a wide array of brilliantly blended shades and tints of that hue (if that makes any sense whatsoever).

The extra icing on the cake is that the character happens to be Saber.

It's funny, I've been trying to come up with something similar to your style for a while now and I haven't managed to get it just right.
Anyhow, I truly like this wallpaper. There is something very befitting here that I can't seem to put my finger on. Leaving that aside, it might also have to do with the backgrounds that I just can't get. I agree though, that it lacks the flair of the Meer version, I think because of Lacus's positioning. You ought to do a Cagalli version as well.

"I absolutely adored the anime, even if I hated the main character. I loved the details of the storyline and the emotional backing to the story. Your wallpaper displays that emotion quite well, at least Haruka's side of it. She seemed to me the stronger of the two main female leads, but yet at the same time, she is just a fragile little girl within. The idea of her having her own special place to run to seems to me perfect for a character such as Haruka (I'm pretty sure that was her name. I can never japanese names of characters in animes I've watched more than a month ago). The stunning detail of the arches are amazing. The hedges and tree gives off the feeling of a fenced off reality, where nothing in the outside can possibly interfere with the Garden. I just love this wallpaper, definitely a favorite for me."

"I have to say, this is just mind blowing. I usually don't like cluttered wallpapers as they lose the focus. That and they usually make me very dizzy. This is not the case here. You had just skillfully manage to blend not two, not three but nine characters into a wallpaper but still keeping it from being "crammed". I just love the whole feel to it."
