One thing that you should pay attention to is the scans themselves. You see, there is a kind of contrary between Konata's image and Haruhi's. The image of Konata seems to have a high contrast while Haruhi's image has a low contrast but higher quality (compared to Konata's which has lower quality and makes it looks a bit pixelated).

The font is just too big and need a kind of replacements (I mean, place it in nicer position, please...) ^w^
And please try to 'play' more with shadows and lighting effects. It's important not to depend too much on your scan 's quality, so those shadow and lighting effects will be much help in order to maintain your wall's quality. :D
