This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Wow, I was instantly drawn to this. *_* It's a simple concept for a wallpaper but I think you did a good job on making it work with the choice of image. If I had to make any suggestion, I'd say to perhaps remove the colour from the images behind Tohru and give them a pinkish hue... it might make them seem more like her memories, but that's just a personal opinion. ^^" View

"I love the atmosphere of this wallpaper. ^^ I think the only thing that I would suggest is just removing the red text; it seems to clash with the reading of "When the story ends..."; I'm not really sure how the words are supposed to flow. I also agree with the person who said the text needs to be moved up a little bit so that it's not obscured by any task bars. ^^ Otherwise, good work!" View

"This is a really emotional piece, I really like it! Although, I think that the images of Light and L in the corner sort of take away from the piece... they don't look as if they belong there. I also don't like the "desolation" font too much... it looks too grungy in comparison to the rest of the image and the emotion you're trying to portray. Otherwise, it's fantastic!! I could stare at it for hours. X3" View

"I love the urban feel I get from looking at this piece... the use of colour in contrast to the black and white image is really good. I also like the watercolour texture that the sky has. My only complaint would be that I'd need a bigger copy for my own desktop. ^^" View
