After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Oh, hehe, that must be because I compressed it using paint... lol, stupid image shack and ap and most other image hosting places have a problem with my photoshop jpg compression and won't show the thumbnails/full resolutions (one or the other) so I decided I would try compressing with something different and it worked... but now that I realize it's problem I'll try and find something else... ^.^ thanks for pointing that out, I never would have noticed =X." "The two colors blue and red blend suprisingly well, last time I tried to blend those two it ended up clashing instead, good job on that. You might want to add an eversoslight outerglow to L to make the obvious edge not so obvious (blend it), I'm just looking at L's hand/arm because it is an almost white color and the edge is a little too hard and obvious. Also, the L scan is a little scratchy or whatever you call it... I realize that comes with the scan but trying to do something to get those scan lines more blended and not as noticable would help the two pictures look more like one. It almost looks like you're using too different resolutions with L looking like that.
However, I like imbalance when it comes to use of space so I like the positioning =). Possibly making the splats look like blood could add to the picture however.

-wings are naturally going to be ruffled and choppy (epecially when just barely coming out of your back all bloody; wet feathers clump)
-sharpening points would make the roundness of the feathers disappear making it look more like hair

-I thought about removing the outlines even before I posted but it would require some detail along the edges or you get hard to makeout lines in a kind of optical illusion manner (which is fine if that is what you're aiming for but I'm trying to get more of a cartoon picture, not a simple abstract) and if you chose the detail the balance of detail/simplicity would break.
-the gradient on the blood coming off the wing is to give it a blobular look of floating blood rather than a stain like on the wings, the lack of outline IMO makes it look like it really is coming off the wing.
-the grayish color is because I am both trying to be accurate to the movie ('Charcoal Feather Federation' being the head of Haibanes and Reki commenting on Rakka's 'beautiful charcoal colored wings' a few times in the movie) and keep a good contrast, blood on bright white wings makes it harder to blend and I didn't want black wings." Just a little test idea. I went through like 40 of my brushes just clicking and brushing to see if anything would look good and found a spider web brush that I thought wasn't bad...

+Added a background that just has pages from the 'side side materiale' book
+Put some string on the edge to make it look like a partially bound book
+Made a little test rip/burn to see how I liked it
In no way is this going to be how it looks when I'm finished, I just didn't want to spend too much time working with the edges if no one like the idea...
I plan on making the paper more grainy and scratchy with a brown look to it and making the brown along the edges more uneven.
+I fixed his hand and a few more problems I noticed, and added a little vector line to make it noticible where his arm and body where, but didn't like it so I took it off =P
Here's a link to the scan I used, I don't want to add anything more to the person himself... you can see why if you look at the scan, it pretty much is just a straight copy (except a bit more curved and not as edgy)

"I was never good at texturing, but I'd say for a hologram only have a little grain (so it looks brighter and not as jagged) and texture the girl with randomly sized horizontal lines (?possibly curved to add 3d effect?) and maybe a darker shade of blue on the glow... Just an idea though, I've never done it before so you'll definantly have to play around with some things.
Also, adding a wind blast might make it look a little more... hologramish, like it's cutting out or something.
In a complimentary note, I like the boxes in the background, and I know you're not finished but I'd suggest adding something in the bottom-left and top right corners if you're trying to fill the screen up, or maybe some bars along the edge like most sci-fi walls have." View
