Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! The vector is impressive and I would have loved to see the bike in colour, though once you put in colour it make it that more complicated and difficult to pull off. Still, great vector.
Nice urban/city feel in the background, I think I actually used some of those brushed for my own Air Gear wall as well! I guess it just really suits air gear.
The background which seems to be semi abstract still feels a little too random with the splotches of paint, and then the sudden appearance of the city. It would have been better if there was a focal point and maybe the paint splashes were not as strong, perhaps a lower opacity..? Also it may have benefited from more white/empty space. It almost seems you put in brushes just for the sake of filling an area up thus adding to the randomness, lack of focal point.
I don't feel chaos, everything's in style. My eyes are focused on the skull instead of Ringo. Her direction seems to be wrong to me, Plus, the font is too plain compared to the words.
Nah, it's my opinion. Agree or not, It's alright. Peeps have their different tastes.

Lets see if I can address some of your concerns. First off about the chaos, like a lot of things from Air Gear, its stylised chaos . You cant honestly say that the bg and brush designs are clean and cut.
Also adding to the chaos IS the skull and roses. Yes it does draw a lot of attention to itself but it is the chaotic/dark/secret side to Ringo. Its part of of the other half of the duality of this wallpaper. On one hand you have this smiling, cool looking girl, on the other hand you have the nature, the lethality/deadliness of her Thorn Road, of her Trick.
As for the font I think it suits Ringo myself. Its not at all formal and its casual enough to be seen as being written free hand like a scribble on a wall. The text itself also has duality. While the actual words is very confrontational, its till very slim and light and not overbearing in appearance. Its as if the girl with this sweet smile is actually saying it to you- just before she knees you something fierce .
Like you said, everyone has different tastes and my concept was very different from the more conventional Lovers embrace/kiss in (insert atmospheric background) or cute/adorable girl/boy for fangirls or fanboys too swoon over (not that theres anything wrong that lol). I guess I was trying to do something different.

Its so hard to get quality feedback unless you already have a reputation and a lot of watchers etc. I did change much just a tweak here and there, i got the vibe that most of it was solid as it was.
The main difference would be the sporadic areas fade of the skull in the background so it wouldnt stand out too much. It could also be seen as a balance for the disintegrating bg designs.
I also decided to limit any more urban designs/brushes; I already have them slightly faded the further they reach up and down the wall. I felt it fought too much with Ringo for the viewer’s attention, to add more would make it just too cluttered. Also with the current white space there is still room for people to place their icons if they have a few on their desktop.
As for the blur in Ringo im not too sure as to what you mean, but I did have the and the outline edges of her body a little darkened if maybe thats what some people are noticing. It really made a difference with the depth of her image. It made her look more 3d or round than without it... it looked pretty flat and boring before I did that.
So yea, if thats alright with everyone I'll post it to the gallery really soon! Remember to keep an eye for it haha." View

Ive always wondered how that scene would look in colour. If I could I would have all the 2 page spreads turned into wallpapers, but the very detail that makes them so awesome also makes it very difficult to recreate and colour. Ive done a couple Air Gear manga colours for walls, and they take a lot out of you.
I like the effort you put into this wall, I was thinking maybe you could have put a different colour to Ikki's Numberless Grappler (the skeletons), may be a haunting blue so that it contrasts with Ringo's Infinity Atmosphere. So in the end you would have one side with shades of green and the other blue (or a different colour).
That way you ca easily tell the difference and emphasise the intensity of the battle. Still some nice effort!" View

I was just wondering if you explored other sort of styles for the wolf on the wall. Im guessing at the moment you were going for a sort of shadow on the wall type of feel. The edges seem a little too blurred in contrast to the clear character in front.
I would like to see how a more graffiti painted wolf on the wall would look, or perhaps sort of an old rock painting style stuck, etched into the wall - seeing as how you already have those cracks going over the wolf.

"Its a unique idea for a Bleach wall! I can see how you went for a minimalist design with limited colours. I dont have too much experience with making walls but I would say a quick thing to do is have at least 2 shades of colour for Ichigo's hair.
See how you have two shades for the black robes or the white pillars, you should have a darker and lighter shade or orange for his hair. Perhaps a sprinkle of stars would make it not as empty. I dont remember if they have stars in hueco mundo..?
Stylistically very clean and crisp but very effective. Its only a suggestion but maybe if you not add more filters but more distinct shades of colour, it could look quite striking! Like How Afro Samurai has 3 shades for his clothing maybe you could try adding another shade to the 2 you have at the moment.

I've read this particular novel, absolutely loved it and love the wallpaper! In this novel Kyon is meant to make a decision near the end, and I am surprised at how quickly he actually makes it.
I personally would have struggled, one has the awesome data entity interface that is Yuki, and the other is an adorable, frequently blushing and smiling Yuki. Tough choice I say.

"Ive never seen the anime, but this wall still gives me that sense of anticipation and excitement. I like the lighting and how you have the gap in the door at the center of the wall. The composition makes the eyes start for the sides, and trace to the center making it as if, you yourself are entering that door.
"With all the Itachi wallpapers out there I was thinking why there wasnt one of him on the telephone pole, with the full moon background...Im glad one actually got done lol. I like the colours and composition, and the certain sense of solitariness it gives off.
It would be interesting to see a red and black version, Kind of like when you are in his Sharingan world with a red fullmoon instead of white.
