This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
You need papers to download scans, yes. However, you don't have to BUY them necessarily. Check the faq for more details... basically, just be active on the website and you'll be fine.

What I don't like is that with my windows bar on my desktop, I won't be able to see the bottom of the wallpaper (yes I can hide the bar, but I don't like it when it's not here ;_; ) so I will miss a part of the composition because it's designed to be like a sort of postcard (which is a good idea btw!).
