This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

You need papers to download scans, yes. However, you don't have to BUY them necessarily. Check the faq for more details... basically, just be active on the website and you'll be fine.

Midnight Rite

"I congratulate you for adding on to the Atelier Iris category (i'm a sucker for GUST)
If i'm not wrong, she's Yuvaria, the android guarding a huge, spherical thing, accessible from deep inside the church (correct me if i'm wrong)

I don't know if you got it by luck or something, but i like the fact that the moon is there in the place of that huge thing in the game.

if there's any oddity in the wall, i think it's on the legs. forgive me for pointing this out, but she looks like she's standing on flat ground, rather than floating on air."

"Well, it's kinda hard to point out, but rest assured, it's nothing to do with your skills (unless you applied filters to the scan). the most noticable area for me would be the girl with the orange hair. It's a rather minor thing, and probably, the jaggies is less than 0.5mm, so i guess a 0.5 gaussian blur would do the trick without blurring too much.

As for the lightings, i don't have much to say yet, since i only started using the lighting effects filter. but perhaps, you can place the lighting effects on the centre and change it to 'omni'. hopefully it works"

"Uhh, i don't know if it's just me, but the render seems slightly jagged... (around the hair is especially noticable)

the lightings too, like the rest mentioned, needs a little work. if there's only so much lighting, i think there should be more shading tones around the top area... but i prefer it with more lights anyway. gives more bling.

Overall, it's a wonderful work, and the flaws are very minor that they can be overseen."

"Whoa, very nice wall >.<

It's got the relaxing atmosphere and i like the simplicity. the clouds also look really realistic; was it done in airbrushes?"
