After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! "I think given the colors of the char you should,
1. finish the egg shell
2. change the dark storm setting on the bg
3. add some feather, its kinda the idea she was born from the egg so if you add feathers you add an angelic look.
4. a good bg might be a cloudy one, like a sunrise, with lots of light. beams too, could work a small lens flare too.. maybe you could even add water under the egg shell and ripples like its floating on the surface and make the water meet the horizon with the sky.
That would be awesome.
Regarding the char,
You cannot cut it out from the original scan with the magic wand, it sucks when it adds or takes out parts of the coloring. Also the quality is all wrong cause you can see the differences in a plain color. That won't do. Try doing a vexel of the char and repainting it with shapes.
There are some cool tutorials to do that.

Composition... Maybe the skull takes a bit from Ringo, a little less opacity there might do the trick, or do an area opacity change, like blutches of transparency over it.
You could even use the lines from the horizon and make it less visible in the dark or clearer ones. Thats up to you. It works as it is too but you might like it if you give it a try.
Ringo, just sexy, very nice scan.
Maybe you could brighten up her colors just a nodge, to make her stand out a little bit more. Make her the central focus of the wall.
Its just those details and Id say its good to go.
Its a + fav as soon as it gets in AP. Really good, has style, funk and its creative. I like it a lot. Plus it goes so well with the Air Gear feeling of the manga!

"I'm sorry, but I think that you have a serious problem here with the bg. The char looks ok, but the bg is horribly blurry and unfocused. It's like you used a filter to make it look cartoonish but personally I would go for a vectoring option or something. I think you should redo the bg. In case it's a picture you used, try adding a lineart on top of it, then work with a brush on the coloring and make the moon less realistic. After you are done with that, I would apply a lighting effect on the char to make it darker, then on the bg again to make it as if the light comes from the moon. Then you could work on a refletion of that lightover thewater and make some splashy glowy water off the fall.

The idea is very good, however, I think that the light thingy between he legs is out of place and doesn't add to the whole idea.
Have you considered adding a bg instead of the gray texture? You could work on some sort of landscape with other crucified people, maybe make them all in dark shades, so that you don't have to add detail and paint their foreheads with a geass symbol. That would rock. Plus it would say soo much about CC. You'll see about that later on in the series. Try playing around with her lighting and maybe move her a little to the rightor left, like she isn't on the center of the screen. That way you get room for the bg and it'll make it look more harmonious in the end.

Then you could take faces and make then translucent and put them really messy on the smoke, tired, crying conflicted faces, you know the drill

However the blue borders they have aren't working, I would suggest you go back to lineart in black and give the flowers a more pinshi-yellow degrade colouring. Also make the moon silvery, not golden
That way her eyes will look even more otherwordly and the glowing snowy like thignies will look much cooler. Good luck!

Appart from that there is a small part of Zero's hair that is cut out. Also they don't really blend. I mean you have three different things clashing. On one hand Yuuri and Zero that are texture less and on the other Kaname full on textured and then blood like vector brushes...
U should decide on which end do you want to stand. If you want a vector of any of those pics, let me know. I may not be able to do a vector but a good vexel that I might.
