Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

"I like the sepia style you chose for this wall, the ships look great and I like the sense of perspective and distance you managed to capture adding blur to some ships to make them look farther away than the un-blurred ones, the scan looks cool and blends really well with the background, I would advice you (as you pointed) to choose a different font, maybe a classic and italic font would do it, and also change the frase, eliminate "The" and just leave "Last Exile" (when you watch the anime you'll understand :D), besides that everything looks great, excellent work." "That's one beautiful background, I must say you did a great job combining colors and effects, all of my critics are directed to the main character's image, you should try to soften up all the edges cause they look pretty rough and in my opinion they don't allow the image to blend properly with the background, the wings lower parts seem to be incomplete and it looks like you tried to cover some rough edges with blur (even if that's not the case), they would look pretty good if you find a way to make them look more neat in the tips, you could try to extract the scan all over again or fix it part by part, I'll be waiting for your upcoming works and hopefully for a retouched version of this wallpaper. "Well the first thing I noticed when I saw this wall was the center, I think you should eliminate that white stain-like space cause it's really distractive and it takes the focus away from the character's image which by the way looks kind of blurry, this would look ok if it weren't for the stripes, you use stripes you accentuate an image edges and since in this case you wanted the edges blurry you should have used more of a circle theme that matched the bubbles in the main image."
