After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Incredible wallpaper, and from Wolf's Rain too! The shadow of the wolf and the cliff against the sky and the grunged-up texture creates a rather nice, appealing effect. The colors you chose also add to this effect. I think they match the black colors almost perfectly. I notice that some grunge lines seem a bit crisp and pixellated (the ones on the right, for example). I don't know if that's deliberate or not, but smoothening it out would probably make it look better. I also see no need for the black gradient at the bottom; personally it looks better if you continued the texture all the way down, but that's your call. The dark, grungy shades of green and teal are totally awesome. This one's a favorite." View

The birds are an interesting element to add on too, they look pretty well-drawn if you made them from scratch. Not so sure about the innocence of the scan, hehe, but that's not all that important. The little textures are working for you too (kinda hard to see them at first), but I don't know what the blended blobs near the bottom are for, but they don't intervene that much with the wall. What I don't like is the text coloring -- font and placement is great, but I can barely see white when trying to contrast it with the background. Overall, great beach wallpaper!" View

"Hmm, this one's strange, and in a way unique. The colors you chose to vector the original scan is absolutely stunning. You have a good eye for things. It matches the vector, it matches the game, and most of all, it matches the character. If the original scan were to have color, your vector would have been it. The only thing I don't like is the text below the title of "I need more power," frankly, I see no use for having to darken the left side of the text, and lightening the right side. That just makes it annoying for me to read, despite the fact it looks semi-cool. Overall, very brilliant colors!" View

The colors and their blending are so well done, and you managed to contrast dark colors with very light colors without forcing my eye to adjust itself to the differing brightness. I don't really see the point of the transparent gridlines and blocks near the top of the wallpaper, but that's okay -- they don't intrude with the picture at all. I like how you used Terragen to assist in recreating the background from scratch to match the scan. In my opinion, it matches the scan fairly well, but, like all usages of 3D renders, some more fine-tuning could have been done. To sum it up: Great wallpaper. :)" View
