After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"I think it's very creative to put text over konata : D the wallpaper would have given a completely different impression without it. also, the pastel colors are very appealing. the only problem with using light colors is that it's very easy to make certain objects stand out (i.e. konata's brown shoe). it's not a big deal, but i think it might look better if the shoes didn't stand out as much since it's not the central focus on the wallpaper.
a few other random notes:
- i wouldn't mind if you made the light-blue background larger to minimize the white spaces
- the light bulb beside konata's head is very fitting : )
- it'd look cool if you placed the "procrastination" right above konata's finger, so it looks as if she was pointing to the word. i think that might create a greater impression on the theme: procrastination
- and, i really like that little design beside konata's hand!
i was reading your comment, and realized what you said is so true. it happens to me as well; i take notes while my teacher rambles in class, but since i'm not listening half the time i can't decipher my notes when i'm at home XD

"Really like the background colors. although i thought the wallpaper seemed a bit more serious and solemn and at first, it does give a peaceful and dreamy feeling : D the vague outlines of clouds in the background blends nicely into the aquamarine/blue hue.
i like the idea of placing the birds in the far distance, but i think black outlines seem a bit too much that it somewhat detracts from the peaceful background. i'm not saying the birds don't fit with the wallpaper; i just think it might look nicer if there were less birds congregated together. overall, i really like the coloring and layout. keep up the good work! : )" View

the background colors blend nicely with the girl. i really like the contrast of foliage on the top and flowers on the bottom of the wallpaper. i also like the way the butterfly wings are a brighter blue than that of the background and flowers, which draws the focus onto the wings.

i actually like the white background better than the green since most of the wall paper is already colorful. i think an alternative version with a black background might also look well, but the outline will have to be white or a lighter color...
i'm new to making wallpapers, and i have to say, i'm very impressed : ) the paint blobs look really effective and stylish. i like your inspiration from coca cola, and i can understand why you decided to leave the background completely plain. although there's probably too much color for me to stare at, i still like the wallpaper. this is definitely a fav!" i like your idea of giving red balloons to sootballs. they're almost a trademark of miyazaki's films (both in spirited away and my neighbor totoro), although i think in totoro the sootballs were able to float in air... and didn't have long legs as those in spirited away...
i'm not sure if you chose a pink background to match the balloons, but i think you can consider an alternative wallpaper with the background a sky with clouds to show the sootballs floating in midair. you can even put in an actual sakura tree in the background (rather than a japanese partition). that ways, everything seems to be taking place outdoors. however, if you had intended for the balloons to juxtapose against the sakura partition, that's completely fine as well. : ) this is just something that came to my mind when i saw your wallpaper.

"I thought i'd seen it somewhere : D miyazaki's movies are wonderful!! i never knew there were star-like spots in the body...i only remembered that the forest deity's body was transparent and watery. it's interesting to notice these things after looking at the screencap a second time.

"I like the subtlety of the background, especially the way the clouds seem to blend in to the water. the reflection of the feather on water gives seems very real, and contrasts nicely to the surrealistic, misty aura that envelopes the feather. i also like the way the words seem to emanate a similar glow as the feather.
needless to say, this is a very gorgeous wallpaper : D
