to me the scan, bg, and colors tell me she is sinking...not flying. i think they are somewhat unnecessary and take away from the girl.
would love to see this reworked.

extraction is okay, but some parts of inu are too pixel-y.

*sigh* i always hated that nothern lights tutorial, because annex lives in alaska and trust me, nothern light never ever look like that. they are mostyl green.

the lights just seem too short to me, a little awkward.

i love the butterflies, so cute! but one above the text is different, was that on prupose?

image is too bright. bright is okay, but only in some parts of the image...try using different layers with different blending modes and erasing parts you want hidden with a fuzzy brush on medium opacity.

forgive me if that was total bullcrap, but ne, just my advice.

and is it my imagination, or does it say, "for erver"?

overall, greatness....hopefully you will like photoshop better than paint shop pro, i know i did.

at first i didn't like the white border around each char, but it grows on you.

i really like the effect on the char, really adds to the scan.

a few problems:
i thinkt the colors with the weird floaty stuff don't match. i would prefer something else, but it is not too bad.

i love the castle but it kinda sticks out too much...like the atmosphere at the bottom is missing.

also, me thinks the sky is a little plian...just a tad bit of texture would fix it.

overall, gorgeous!

yes, i hate that pen tool. great job using it though, must've taken ages, each flower is slightly different, which is cool.

this wall would be perfect if not for the black dots in the flowers.

they make the smaller flowers look weird. kinda like peppercorns.

you really got the bg to match well with the char, im not sure if she looked like that at first or whatever, but it works.

my only complaint is that it is too dark. it seems like her face should be lit up by her sword, i dunno.
i couldn't even tell it was stock, good job on the tree bg!

man...i can't get over the look on her face! great idea, she looks perfect hiding behind the tree like that!

so very sad how it wasn't very popular on mt. :(
