After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! So my problem with your pic is the color of the background because the colors of the girls and colors of the background aren't match to each other... so I thought about a solution and I came up one, why don't you use a "color" layer on the background and change the color of it. I think some reddish color would be fine.

If I were you, I would change this dark one for a more brighter one... like a red-orange flamy or a blue-white cloudy background. Why? Because the two in the picture possess the flame of the sky, so that's why.
This will be a very good picture if you work on the background.
