The splattered effect and swirls across the image really help. Maybe an actual mushi could have been thrown in, floating around Ginko somewhere? It still looks terrific.

"Damn. black and white wallpapers always look good. clear vector and nice array of characters. sticking to the villans was the right idea. also have the "eye" as the centrepiece of the image is very effective. i especially like how all the characters are connected together through shadow and other techniques. the positioning of the text and overall placing of the characters works well.

"I like the basic layout. It's effective but good use of effects and lighting would change the overall scheme of the image and background. I have to agree with everything trismugistus said. A lot of work is needed but that should no way deter you - this wallpaper has a lot of potential. Maybe throw in the English name and author down the bottom and have the legs walking over the hills.
