This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

i don't mind that it's dark and bloody, i think the effect you were trying to get with this wall was very well done. i don't know the anime so the wall doesn't mean as much to me as it might to others, but it's still something that i would put on my desktop.

"Fiery! :) looks awesome to me. the faint "scan lines" suit the wall nicely and i really like your scan choice. the wall is put together nicely and the explosion effect turned out great.

"I think you did a really great job! i don't know what your other walls look like (did you go to session zero first?), but this one is really nice. maybe it's cuz i'm into sunset colors right now but i like the orange "sun" behind them. the texture/filters you used were nice. made the wall more soft looking. i don't mind the brush work but i think it could've been toned down a bit, maybe just blended better.
this almost reminds me of a movie poster. it's definitely neat. the line up of them walking is my fav part. i almost think the wall would be fine with just that (and the cool sun with some clouds and stuff), but this looks just fine as is! :)

"I think you did a pretty good job, the concept is great. a couple of things that would've made this look even better: i'm with flyin' on making the sky have more color (just a bit, but not alot), i actually don't mind the blur on the chara (it gets the point across, but maybe less might look better...not sure though...), i really think this wall would've benefited from have a light texture over it (canvas would be the best so it goes with your "painting" feel, this helps to hide the small flaws as well as blend everything better. we can tell you used filters before you even said anything and i've always been told by the really good wallers here that we shouldn't be able to see the filters/effects used. so a texture will almost always help out with that, you just need to play around with the blending modes and opacity), and i don't mind the oriental letters (i love stuff like that! i don't think there's enough of them out there! ;p) but i don't like the position. more to the right and down a bit might be better. a very large majority of people put their icons on the left-hand side so it's going to be covered up. i think if you look at alot of painting in the style you have here, they don't have the words so close to the edge like that. i don't mind that it's white but i feel that a diff color might look even nicer. oh! some birds could look nice or would that be too cluttered?

"Not completely autumn colors but still looks alright. i almost find your wall too busy. personally, i would've left out the autumn leaves that are flying around. it goes with the theme but not the wall. the only trees you have on your wall are not the type that would produce those leaves. i also feel that the grass is way too bright. it's alittle jarring compared to the color scheme you have going. also, i don't think grass is that green in the autumn months...

"It's a great start but there is definitely some work left to do on this wall. first thing off that i noticed is that the vector is way too blurry. Mixing realistic elements with anime hardly ever works. Your wall is ok but the different elements could be blended better. I think this would've looked so much better if you had vectored the flowers and not blurred your chara.

nice work. i like the texture, it makes the wall more soft and gives the illusion of there being more on the wall than there is. great job with the "simplistic" style, it looks nice.
vector isn't too bad, the lines could be a bit smoother. ever try duplicating the lines layer and putting a guass blur on the bottom layer (0.5-1px)? I find it's a easy way of making the lines look better. really depends on the vector i guess.
