But i think the texture is a bit too much. The brown covers all nice colors in this wallpaper and less of the structure would give a nice atmosphere. But such filter make it look cheap. Why don't you try for the next wallpaper to choose a character, make a nice background (scenic or abstract, doesn't matter) and when you're satisfied with your work, you can submit it. The mountains are way too simple but they look good with the gradient effect. It would add some shadows and highlights to the grass or make the grass in the back a little bit smaller. Anyway I think you shouldn't have blurred the scan so much. The background is so clean so the best way to edit a scan would be a vector. But a vector can be a real pain so I suggest you could just remove the black outlines or make them a bit thinner.
