As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

personally, i recommended adding some shades of gray or what not. but honestly i dont tihnk there is any problem at all only doing black and white. its really not a matter of effort in my opinion. he could have taken the extra i dont know...two minutes?! to simply fill in some colors but he didnt want to, meaning its simply how he wants it to look.

"Good job on the vector given the source you were working off of. the character cold use a little more work as with small little bits here and there...such as the mesh not extending all the way to the ground in the background. also, possibly a future tip on doing that mesh is: make a mesh seperately at a much larger resolution with no perspective, so looking straight at it. then take a selection of it, and transform>distort/perspective." "This definitely looks alot better then when you showed it to me before. i still say the 4 box window layout looks somewhat plain though. despite the individual pieces here like the little designs and such, id say most of the arrangement is a bit too standard. now this isnt really a bad thing just an observation more like. as i said the boxes are your standard window, centered, and all the same size. with such a nice design going in your other areas, might as well have made the boxes a bit more complex."
