After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Go to Candy Mountain instead Bantam... @~virus: yes, I will be very pleased with myself after everything is cooked, but I am just so tired of doing it lol
"Sweet! I love the confident expression Soul has here, and of course, the suit is just awesome. A very nice piece of work here, simple but very effective :) Great work, and a +fav.
"Well! As many have pointed out, this wall does have its flaws, but offsetting these details is the sheer energy contained in the explosion of violets and blues in every possible shade. The arrangement of the the girl and the bustling background give the wall a sense of much activity, while still not overly distracting from the main focus of the wall. A planned outcome, maybe, or a stroke of accidental genius? Whatever the cause, the result is wonderful. And judging by the number of favorites this wall has received, I'm inclined to think others will agree with my analysis. Congrats, and here's another fav. to add to the list.
"Great wall! Of course, I have always been a fan of the special effects such that you have managed to produce in abundance; swirls and twirly lines faded out just so, and all color coordinated and nicely balanced.
However, I must say that your laziness really didn't pay off here; the wall is really good, but it could be awesome if you had taken the time to vector the main character. I also feel that some modicum of color would do to offset the mass of black the character creates in the center of the wall. Both of these steps would help to remove what I might term as a "flatness" to the character; in comparison to the vibrant and highly demensional background, the non-vectored character (though you did work with a good scan and extraction, I can say) seems rather 2D-ish, if you get my gist.
With that in mind though, I myself could still never produce anything nearly as cool looking, and overall the wall does look awesome. I just think that it could look even more awesome were you to put a bit more work into it; it certainly has the potential to be better.
"What an awesome job you did on this wall. The background is detailed yet slightly softened, so that, even though the entire wall has a softened tone, it does not overly attract the attention from the main characters. The colors are amazing, of course. And the vector job is, as many have stated, superb. There's a lot more I could say, but by this point, most of it has been said. Great job!
"I know why you only finish walls when you are most busy. Shall I explain? I understand the sentiment most well: procrastinate a task you should finish by doing a different task that you have also wanted to finish, but was lower down the list of priorities :S However that may be, the result is wonderful. The background of graffiti art is very nicely drawn, and the vector job is very clean cut and smoothed out. The lighting job is also very good. +FAV" View

"Wowee, thats one scary expression she has on her face, my goodness! *Shivers* Excellent vector job on this wall, this image never ceases to bring a grin to my face :D
"Very cute indeed :D
While I am not familiar myself with the anime, I can appreciate the work you put into this particular wall. The natural colors are bright and cheerful, but not so overly bright as too appear garish; they are a well-balanced blend that gives a very nice appearance to the wall. The structures of the walkway and opening lead the eye easily to the main focus of the wall, the drunken little panda! Congratulation on the great job, and keep up the good work.
"Very nice use of background and color palette. You stuck with a certain mix of colors, and by being careful to not deviate from them, you have created a well-balanced and coordinated work here. I always do like the fancy vectored backgrounds, and of course, the anime girl herself is a nice piece of work :P
good choice :D
"Its been a while since I commented on a new wallpaper, but this one certainly caught my eye. Even by merely seeing the thumbnail posted on the home page, I immediately caught the sense of an motion, that idea of capturing a dynamic scene and freezing it in time. The background is wonderful; the curved/stretched buildings are light in color (so as to avoid distracting from the main figure), while still accentuating the idea of motion. The main figure himself is positioned in a powerful position with hand held up splayed, thereby "erasing" the noise, hence the most appropriate title. This piece is well-deserving of a favorite, in my opinion, so it a favorite it gets from me :) Keep up the great work, if all of your work is this good, I definitely want to see more of it.
"Now, I'm not an artist by any means, but I do think that I can, at the very least, look closely at a painting and suggest what aspects of it appeal to me, and what parts could be improved on. With that in mind, don't take what I say too seriously, as it is an uneducated opinion, but you said you wanted opinions, so here goes ;)
1) Nice bg, arrangement of soft colors, its quite nice.
2) the text, not so good, as its almost invisible as it is now (solid red). Now, I'm not sure if the actual font needs changing, but the color is definitely not quite right... what color it should be changed to I am not so sure about, just that a change should be made.
3) Shape of the drawing = very good :P
4) Colors of the character; good, but I wonder if they aren't a bit too bold. The blue swath of hair seems a bit too dark for the much paler (overall) bg. There just seems to be a bit too much dark blue, and maybe dark red even. Maybe experiment with lighter versions of the same colors.
5) I noticed you did soften the edges, to match the "painted" style (for lack of a better term) bg, but I have to wonder if the girl wouldn't look a bit better if the outlines were sharpened a wee bit. Might be worth a try, cuz you dont' want the focal point of the image to be too fuzzy, especially when you are using such bold colors. On the other hand, this isn't a verctor, so you have to find a balance, I guess.
On a final note, a higher resolution would be great, if you can manage it. Thats all I have to say now, and take care, this wall certainly has potential, hence my reason for commenting on it. Take care,
"I pretty much agree with what minkyoya said (above), down to the detail about the black/white splotch towards the bottom. In addition, I'm not sure if you can do this, but instead of adding black bars towards the bottom, why not try sizing the wall to be a widescreen? Just a thought.
Anyways, good work nonetheless so far, keep it up.
"Hiya there. First of all, I really like the wall. The background is pretty sweet, and the vector job is tip top too, much improved from before.
My one question/comment is on the phrase "Feel the Pein", specifically, the word "pein". And... (I decide halfway through typing this to look up "Pein", and voila, question answered, I stop typing).
Thats about it, makes sense now. Maybe if you put a small note in your description about the Akatsuki and Pein's relation to it, might enlighten those you are note intimately familiar with the Naruto manga.
Oh, if only it were not for the low resolution... I think this a great looking wall, I've always had a liking for the techno-ish colors of blazing blue and such, and mixing these colors/effects with some cute girls just about completes the picture, I think :D
"Wow, I don't care what anyone says, this is one awesomely wicked wall. Well, I am quite the Naruto fan, but that aside, the sense of motion, the strong colors, and the beautiful, textures, all make me really enjoy this wall. I think its a fav :D
Now, if you were to make improvements, maybe one of the things to do would be to reduce the amount of black in the lower left part of the wall. But that and any other minor points aside, it is still a really nice wall.
"Hmmm, a good wall overall, that has some good points and some areas of improvement.]
Good Stuff:
-colorful 'bursts of power' as others have termed the light splashes coming off at each side
-detailed, appropriately styled (Yuki does deal with data and all that stuff)
-some very cool looking light effects
-Focus: Yuki is far too clouded over and 'dim', as I would term it; the effects almost overshadow her, and as the center of the image, should she not be the focus?
-the title; seems a bit cluttered at the bottom of the screen; not sure what could be done to fix this, maybe provide a non-text version?
Thats all for now, still a pretty good wall overall. Hope to see you around soon, don't make your sojourn an overly long one :D
"I think that the background and the vectorization of the mermaid are both great, if you look at them separately. Together, though, they just don't mix. The mermaid has bright, 'warmer' tones if you will, while the background has darker color, more detailed, that just don't match up with the mermaid somehow. What it would make to make this wall really click, I'm not sure, but I think that it could definitely be improved. Perhaps brightening the background would be a start; maybe, as somehow else already mentioned, some more vectorization of the background would work too.
Nonetheless, it is still a very pretty wall :D so a good job overall.
"A great looking wall here. There so many good things that could be said about this wall, but I think most of them have been said more often than you care to hear them, so all I'll say for that is, "its all really good". I do, however, particularly like the shiny armor she wears; the metallic gleam it has is really cool. + Fav and download.
