StellarXInochi's wallpaper is a beautiful piece of art combined with excellent design and an outstanding concept. The soft, yet bright colors create a fairytale-like atmosphere, and the water-color-like execution meets a successful typograhy and makes the wallpaper something special.
Your idea of flawless would almost certainly be different from someone elses perspective, there is no perfect "flawless way of drawing"...different people and their different style of drawing is what makes the drawings interesting
After all the revisions and roughs, your final version really paid off and the whole thing looks great! I'm a sucker for rainbowy colors in the background and the the image you used and the texturing you've done are nice. Good choice on the final version of the feather/wings!

Great progress/finish on your wall. I've been looking at its previous progressions and this is indeed a great final product.
I think the new wings/feathers are a great improvement from the previous black grungy ones. The text change is more appeasing to the eyes as well.
I agree with Leviatan that the two feathers have a bit too much purple in their shadows but other then that, good job.

"Hm.
The images you used in a lot of this scan aren't proportionally scaled and they look really squished together.
Some things to help this wall along...
- If you're going to keep the original manga quality, then at least make it look more textured so it can blend better... rather than it looking like a scan was just slapped on.
- The writing on the bottom corner of your main center image should be edited... I'm always mehmehmeh about work that has premade logos/signatures/text on it...
- The blur on the film strip holes contradict the rough quality of all your images in general... so a solution to that could be A) Cleaning up the manga images to be more smooth and solid maybe with a similar blur to the film strip holes, or B) rough up the filmstrip to make it blend better with the quality of your images.
- The image you have in the bottom left corner needs to be cleaned up a bit. Its quality/texture alone is completely different from the other manga scans you have selected and you need to either fix that one up a bit, make it stand out more, or something else... The sword is cropped off.. so finish that sword off or blend it better into the wall
- Lastly, because of the texture of the bottom left image, the words you added on top makes that whole area seem to busy. Maybe make the words stand out more with a drop shadow or outer glow or stroke or even different colors... who knows.

If I absolutely had to be nit-picky about anything... I'd say... readjust the text a little more. Maybe make some of the black lines a little less thick in some parts (like the hair curves, some of the arms, etc), and I can see some white peeking out of the bottom of her eye. Maybe even get rid of the darker more vibrant yellow in her hair to add to the simplistic theme you have going.
I like this wall! If I had to say anything about it, I'd say reduce the white of some of the clouds, not necessarily get rid of them, but make them less bold. The blue that you have in the background is also a hue that for some reason doesn't work in my mind with the blue on the character... maybe play with the hue/saturation a bit? Because the color seems so bold yet your main focus should be your character...

I love the colors, they're so warm and add a great feel to the entire wall. The text is nicely done as well. I like the word choice you selected... and the clouds just add the finishing touch, making this something more than just a vector color blend of abstractness
"Mmmm, your original scan does indeed make it hard to get a smooth crisp blend going.
Something I always do to try to clean up those little technical pixilated areas is I go with a white round soft brush. and I use a layer blend mode to try to kinda whiten/blend the whiter areas that are invaded with pixels I don't want. Screen or soft light often work well with that job but again, it really depends on where you put that blend layer as well as all the other elements of your layers on the collage... like how much saturation is in some layers, how much of the color burn is here or there. Another thing I do is if I find that one of my layer blends is just too much in some places but I like the feel for the entire overall blend mode of that layer, I tend to go back with a layer mask and just round soft brush around the parts I think are overdone or are too effective on parts of the wall.
But I can definitely see that some parts of the original scan (like the clothes for example) have a preset texture to them that make it hard to smooth out those blends @_@ so that'll be something to just mess around with.
Anyway, great progress~~~~ keep me updated! (if I don't post back, just pester me on my user page!

I think I see where you're going with the background, to make the texture/filter blend into the rough lines that you like on the main scans right? Mmmmm, I think the background in general is a better blended improvement from the first background you had of the flowers, but it seems a bit too busy for me... maybe it's the cracks down coming down from the top or maybe it's just the angled strokes in general, not sure...
Also, it might be the effects of the color burn or whatever overlay you're using on the original characters, but I can see the pixilation on the edges of his face as well as other whiter parts of the image.
If you're going to go with the text in the middle of a black line, maybe try to make the fill 0% and outline it with a grungy red or something? the current inner glow white and the particular shade of red/orange you have going for it doesn't blend as smoothly as it should with the background.
The overall feel you want going for this wall is still there though - the violence, darkness, etc... it's a very "dark" themed wall and the images you have stand out immensely for such an atmosphere you want for it so you're in the right direction!
