While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

The rays from the upper right corner look a bit bended, but that might be a visual effect from the wings (just when they cross). I like the ripples on the water, they are barely noticeable but they are there nonetheless. I really like the background, a little glossy and blurred for my tastes, but it's quite good. I don't like kiddie naked girls so no comments on her XD.
I have never seen this series either, but a friend of mine that loves Love Hina likes it, which gave me green light to NEVER ATTEMPT to see it (i'm such an ass). Even so, I admit that they have cute characters." View
